After much debate, we are still undecided about whether or not to start our PH tickets on our arrival night or not. We are leaving home in B.C. Canada at 1:00am to take a 7:15am flight out of Seattle. Arrival time at MCO is 5:30 - we will carry on our luggage so no wait time at the airport and are taking a towncar to POR. We're hoping to arrive and be checked in by around 7:00. Is this realistic? Well, if it is we were thinking of going to MK the first night (Tues Mar 29) because its open til 11:00 and we don't have MK scheduled until the Thurs evening. Should we wait until Thurs??? It'll feel strange not visiting MK the first full day there. Any suggestions.

If it were me I would not go into a park that night. That seems like a very long day and i would want to rest up before the next day. I would not want to start my vacation tired. :)

Yeah I wouldnt go over to the parks until your full first day... take that night to do a nice sit down meal or character meal if you do the chef mickeys or cali grill you can watch Wishes from the hotel and that would be a nice start to your vacation.. IMHO that is....

Have fun!!

If you can sleep on the plane for an hour or two, then I say go for it. Just go and walk around, eat a little and maybe ride a ride or two. If you are too tired I would just stay around the resort and swim.

I think some time at the hotel is the way to go. You will get to have a nice relaxed meal, go swimming, and be in bed early for the next morning. The resorts themselves are part of the magic of being at disney. We actually schedule in a day to just enjoy them! It will be wonderful regardless, but think you will be pushing too hard.

MK or any park that first night by the time you arrive you will have already had a long day.Settle in at your resort and have a good meal and rest.Get a good nights sleep.Start your park touring next well rested. :goodvibes :flower: :earsboy: :wave2:

I wouldn't waste a PH day on that. You are going to be pooped that day & then even MORE pooped the next. I would check in, settle in, eat, explore swim and then hit the sack & be up bright & early the next day.

:cool1: When you get there, if you are all excited go! Maybe schedule dinner at the CP or somewhere. If you don't mind using a day ticket (unless you have an AP) Depends too on how many are in your travel party and how they hold up.

Have fun!
