Arrival night dinner suggestions

We arrive Saturday of MLK weekend. I was thinking of DS but may prefer to avoid it due to crowds. What are your suggestions for a casual dinner at the resorts? We will have our 3 kids and our in-laws with us.

We are staying off property that first night- but will have a car. Then we move to Riviera the next morning.

I’m also looking to enjoy the resorts on our check in day- was thinking Kona Cafe for breakfast. I want to try to hit a couple resorts to show my in-laws some of the other properties…anyone have favorite things to do or restaurants we must check out? Thanks!

Off property, I'd suggest Bahama Breeze or Kobe Japanese Steakhouse, both of which have several area locations. For the latter, you would need a reservation on OpenTable.

Lot’s of fun at Boma and walking around to see the resort and animals. Also fun to take them on a monorail crawl progressive dinner. Apps at Poly, dinner at GF and dessert at Contemporary.

I love that idea! Especially since we want to show them as many of the resorts as we can get to!

You could always then go over to Wilderness lodge for an after dinner beverage and expand the fun!

A lot depends on what time you arrive. If our arrival time is late afternoon, often we don't schedule anything due to possible delays.
As you are staying off site, I would consider trying some of the amazing Orlando restaurants.
If you want to go to an onsite restaurant, Boma is always fun and we love looking at the Savannah either before or after. Sanaa is another good option.
