We have an ADR for CRT at 8:05. We are staying off-property (Bonnet Creek). I have never been to WDW before and so am trying my best to envision how the transport / entry to magic kingdom works.

I *think* that we need to arrive at the parking lot, take a tram (will have to fold up the stroller) to the TTC. Then at the TTC, take either the monorail or the ferry to the MK where we will be at the entry gate / turnstiles. Am I close?

Basically though, what I am trying to figure out is how early we should be at the MK parking lot to get to our reservation on time and hopefully take a few pictures on main street and in front of the caste. Our DD-3 is princess crazy and I am so very excited that we got the reservation so I want to make the most of it.

you're right on your process. The first thing I would do is verify if this is an extra magic hour (EMH) for the Magic Kingdom that morning. If it is, you will be arriving during heavy traffic time and need to allow yourself more time. I would probably take the monorail over the ferry. It should be quicker.

I would allow at least 45 minutes if it is not an EMH morning. Between waiting on the tram and the monorail and transit times. At that time, the bag check and the ticket lines should not be long. That should provide enough time to stroll through the empty park and take some uncrowded pictures. If an EMH morning, I would add 15-20 minutes

Thanks so much. We are going on Sun Feb 12 so no morning extra magic hours luckily. I appreciate the tips on the logistics - so much to sort out before we leave and it is tough envisioning it all since we have never been.

I'd plan to arrive at the parking lot at 7:00-7:15. That early, you'll probably be able to park close enough to TTC that you won't need to use the tram.

I remember the days when my DD was crazy about the princesses. Enjoy this time with your little princess. They grow up so fast.
