We'll be staying at the Beach Club Villas on December 1st (all 8 of us!), and I was just told I have to find a place for everyone to watch the army/navy game. How does ESPN club sound? Or is there a better bar/restaurant to watch it at?

My last option will be to stay in our 2BR, order Pizza Hut and beer and sit around the living room cheering at the TV!

They'll probably show it. There are small tvs at each table - but it really depends on what other games are showing that day. A few years ago we were there for a long weekend- both myself and DW are auburn grads- Auburn & LSU were the ESPN primetime game on Sat nite that year. GREAT (we're thinking, it'll be on the big screen(s)- whoopee!!) it will be great fun. Well they didn't show the game- we ended up watching in our room (good thing too- LSU whipped us like we had stolen their lunch money). Bottomline: have a backup plan.

they should have it on, no matter what, it's just a question of whether it's the featured game in either room or not. but there are a ridiculously large amt of TV's there and at least 1 is bound to have it on...plus if you get a booth on the bar side of the restaurant, there is a screen on the wall, and they will put on whatever game you ask them to! (of course this is subject to blackouts and other airing agreements, yada yada...)

ESPN is great for watching football games! Just let the host/hostess know which game you are wanting to watch (if it isn't apparent from your clothing) and they will do their best to sit you where that game is on.

We have watched the Notre Dame vs. USC game several years now on Thanksgiving weekend and had no problems getting a table.

We always go to the ESPN Club to watch the NCAA Frozen Four (our vacation always falls during that week) and even though there were a ton of other sporting events going on (opening day for Baseball and some big Golf tournament), we were able to watch and hear the hockey game on the small TV at our table. All we had to do was request the game with our Server, no problem.

With how big the Army/Navy game is, I'm sure it'll be on one of the larger TV's. The ESPN Club is a great place to watch what ever sporting even you love....
