We woke at 7am and strangely didnt feel that tired must be the Disney magic working.
I showered and dressed and went off to the food court to get the mugs filled while the others got ready.
My plan said AK today, so when we were all ready we took the short walk to the south deepo to catch the AK bus. We only had to wait a short while for the AK bus to arrive and we were away.
Our plan was to head straight for Dinosaur because Julie was adamant that she couldnt remember anything at all about the ride from 2 years ago. On arriving at Dinoland we noticed that the wait for Primeval Whirl was only 15 minutes, so as we had not done this ride before we decided to FP Dinosaur and go on PW first.
We loved PW, especially the spinning bits. There were still a few minutes to go before our FP slot, so we jumped on Triceratops Spin as there was no wait at all.
Finally time for our Dinosaur FP, we headed over the ride and entered the FP entrance. Julie still couldnt remember the ride!
We jumped aboard the time machine thingy and we were off back in time to pick up that extra little passenger.
On exiting the ride Julie realised why she couldnt remember the ride from before it was because she was scared half to death and had her eyes closed all the way round LOL.
Walking out of the dinosaur building we suddenly realised how tired we were, so decided to head back to POR for a swim and a bite to eat in the food court.
The swim was very relaxing; its great to be able to hop back to the resort in the afternoon for a swim, especially when its hot. After a nice lunch of chicken strips, fries, pasta and pizza we returned to the room to find a message waiting from Lorraine telling us to meet them outside the red phone box next to the Rose and Crown in Epcot at 8pm.
We arrived at Epcot about 4pm and walked straight onto Spaceship Earth (no line at all!). That got us in the space mood, so we headed over to see if Mission Space was open. It was and the standby line said 20 minutes, so we decided to chance it. WOW we loved this ride. None of us felt the least bit sick although we followed all the instructions about looking forward etc. religiously. I really felt my cheeks (on my face!) being forced back by the G forces. I only wish it was a bit longer though.
Coming out of M-S we noticed the TT standby line was up to 60 mins. And there were no FPs left so we took a rain check on that for another day. So we wondered over to Honey I Shrunk the Audience and walked straight in (next show was 10 minutes away).
It was nearing time for our meet up with Lorraine, so we took a nice walk around the World Showcase, staring at Mexico. We arrived at the UK just before 8pm and waited by the phone box as arranged. Lorraine, Tom and Lauren appeared about 8:10pm they had been watching Off Kilter in the American stage. We must have walked right passed them on the way to the UK.
After the usual hugs and hellos, we headed to get a good spot for Illumination. Finally deciding to sit on some steps I think near France, cant really remember. But, it was a good view anyway. We love Illuminations.
We hung around after the show chatting and making even more plans for the next few days. When we did finally get moving Lorraine, Tom and Lauren headed out of the International Gateway exit and we carried on to the main exit to get our POR bus.
There was no line at all when we got to the bus stop, so it certainly pays to stay in the parks for a bit longer rather than heading for the exit straight away.
Arrived back at POR, filled the mugs and off to bed.
