Ariel Ball Gown Costume

I am trying to find a Ariel gown for my DGD. This is her very favorite princess. DD and I really don't care for the the mermaid costumes that they have for sale at Disney. Does anyone know where I can purchase either a Ariel ball gown or wedding dress for my 6 yo DGD. I know there is someone who makes Disney dresses, however I don't have their information.

She is having an Aniel birthday party in June, this would make a perfect gift and her outfit for her party. Any and all information would be great appreciated. TIA

I've had a look at the UK Disney Store in case I could help you out. There's 2 Ariel dresses available but they're both on the mermaid side rather than the ball gown side, here's the links anyway:

HOWEVER, when I searched UK ebay, there is an Ariel wedding dress available. It's for 8/9 yr olds:

The close up pics show it's bought at Disneyland Paris. On seeing that I seem to remember Little Mermaid wedding dresses when I was there in Sept. It may be worth asking on that board to see if anyone could get one for you and post it over? Sorry but I've got no plans to go for several years!

Queenie, Thank you so very much for your help. I will do as you suggested and check out the Paris Disney Board. That dress is beautiful! My DGD loves her mermaid, however we just do care for a 6-7 year old wearing a bare mid-drift, type outfit for princess party's, halloween and her birthday. Thank you again for your time and research, I believe you have found a winner for us.

No problems, hope someone can help you out. I'm on ebay all the time at the moment as we're selling a load of stuff before we move so I'll keep an eye out for any more of those dresses, especially if one turns up buy-it-now.

I know what you mean about the 6/7 year olds with the bare midriffs. I was glad my little neice got into Cinderella/Sleeping Beauty rather than say, Jasmine, not because I don't like her but because of the costume. Sadly they always looked a little too stripper-ish for my taste, especially some of the Jasmine ones with those sort of coins on the bare midriff bit.

On ebay, in the past, I've seen both. A pink Ariel gown and a white wedding dress. I can't remember if there's any current auctions with either right now though.. But that's where I would try. Also, if you know anyone who sews, or is you sew, I believe simplicity has a wedding ball gown for ariel available.
