Are you superstitious? A quiz to find out.

I scored a 35/100. Not too superstitious.

However, you better believe I'd get up and leave the plane if I saw a psychic do so first! :scared1:

30/100 Not too superstitious but I do have certain rituals and good luck charms I live by.

I'm only a 15. I did get married on Friday the 13th last year. I was also proposed to on a Friday the 13th with a full moon.

What does your score mean?

A black cat would cross your path and you wouldn't bat an eyelash. When it comes to superstitions, you are a hard-core realist. You doubt that the number 13 has any influence on whether the world has a good day, and simply don't want to waste time thinking about such silliness. You still may have a good luck charm or avoid certain carriers of "bad luck" (i.e. spilling salt)... but even if you do you probably know deep down that it's completely psychological. A lucky pen, for example, may help bring good fortune simply because you believe it will. In a nutshell, superstition is not your thing. You'd rather live in the real world.

I knew mine wouldn't be real high, but I also knew it wouldn't be real low.

How superstitious are you?

Your score = 55

What does your score mean?

You're not 100% superstitious, but there are certain things that you'd rather avoid…just in case! Perhaps you have a certain good luck charm, or pass on chain letters, partially for the fun, partially to protect yourself. Overall, you likely realize deep down that superstitions are mostly not true, but the ones you follow have become old habit. It makes you uncomfortable to break them, so it's simply easier to keep - especially since many of them are tightly woven into our cultural fabric. Almost everyone has the little moment of hesitation when they realize it's Friday the 13th, for example, or says "bless you" when someone sneezes. As long as your superstitions are not controlling your life in any way, there's probably no harm in them.

I got 45 - and you bet I would get up too if the psychic did also. and, the song in the car thing would just freak me out totally. My hubby always says I am nuts but he's always the first to throw the salt over the shoulder when he spills it or knocks it over on the table....he does that cuz he knows I will slap him silly if he doesn't.

Isn't that crazy. :confused3 Got it from my very superstitious grandmother.

me too!! I'd never get married on Friday the 13th and I'd refuse a license plate that had 666 on it in a heartbeat!

edit: I do the salt thing too and I wouldn't be too happy if I broke a mirror either!

I win..

How superstitious are you?

Your score = 70

I will fill out my application for crank case now.

At least I did not return the car when the song came on.

My Dad gave me a new car when I was 16 on Friday the 13th - he said he chose that day specifically so I would associate something GOOD with that day! :goodvibes

I fly tomorrow on 2 flights to get home from a week away on business. The date doesn't bother me a bit but I will keep my eyes open for any psychics exiting my plane!

I got a 30 and I blame my grandmother. That woman was incredibly superstitious and passed some weird ones on to me. NEVER open an umbrella inside. You cannot put a hat on a bed or shoes on a dresser.

I swear, spending time with that woman was just a landmine of opportunities for bad luck. Things that seemed so innocent would just freak her out!

Oh, and yes, I would get off the plane if I saw a psychic getting off! But I'd keep the car, who I believe I would nickname "Christine." :teeth:

That umbrella question got me, I said I wouldn't put it up, but that is because I wouldn't THINK to put it up! :rotfl2:
