Are you Push?? Our sister trip around the World - COMPLETED 6/13!

Wait WHAT?!! Christie and Chloe were there that week?! Ah!! That’s insane, they’re my favsies from that show too!

CP is always a great one for breakfast, I definitely love the food, ambiance and characters, so much fun! Sucks that you caught the characters at a bad time, it’s the worst when you’re just sitting there waiting for them to come around and just want to get going into the park!

I *think* they were just there that weekend, or for like a day or two. I don't think it was the whole week. But it would have been awesome to see them!!

Once we finished our yummy Crystal Palace breakfast, we made our way out of the Magic Kingdom and hopped a monorail to the TTC! There was a Hollywood Studios bus waiting there once we got off and we were probably at DHS around 11:15. We check FPs for TSM, but they must have been for later afternoon, so we didn't get one, as we were planning to go back to the hotel. Instead, we picked up a FP for RNRC and hiked all the way back to the Backlot Tour. I know alot of people think this is stupid/boring, but I really enjoy it. I just wish they didn't rush you through the first room! There are so many neat things to see. I love this plane!

And the Earful Tower! I love the sky in this picture.

We walked through the little store and I found this "best sister ever" plaque thing and may have suggested that my trip-mate purchase it :rolleyes1

Once we were done, we head back over to use our RNC FP and pulled another one for Tower of Terror. There were some really low crowds this day, it was great! Once we were done rockin' out with Aerosmith, we went to yet another animation class. As you can see, this was one of our new favorite things to do!

We drew Donald again (we had previously done it at DisneyQuest, which was a big fail for me), and it definitely turned out a little better than my previous one, but not by much.

As usual, Jess' was better than mine!

Once we were all finished, it was time to use our Tower of Terror FP for one last ride on my favorite!!! It was amazing as usual, how could it not be?? We didn't need FP though as it was a walk on. At 2pm! So obviously you can see how low crowds were this day, it was amazing.

After we were done, it was time to get the one thing I'd been waiting for all week. A Starring Rolls cupcake!!!!!! All week I had been waiting for the chocolate peanut butter or the Butterfinger and they were always out! I definitely remember screaming and grabbing Jess when I saw this beauty in there! This was taken after we got back to the room...

Jess grabbed a brownie with M&Ms (sorry, no pic!) and we head back to the bus! There was this adorable family and the cutest child EVER, all decked out in LSU gear. I seriously think they were the cutest family I've ever seen. By 3, we were back in our room, checking out the sights again. Can't get over this view!

They finally got close this time! We filled up our mugs and I sat down to enjoy my snack. This is what it looked like after I picked off the chocolate flake things...pure peanut butter goodness!

It's an awful picture...but you get the idea! We watched the animals and relaxed until four or so then head out for a swim! I unfortunately never brought my camera to the pool to share pictures with you but it was lovely. By 5, we were back in the room and changed and ready to head our to our FINAL park. :( :(

I lovvvve low crowd days! No line for ToT? Excellent!
Mmmm I could go for a cupcake like that right now! And I`ll enjoy it with a view of giraffes too!

Love the review of CP! Excited to eat there in September. Waiting for the characters sounds annoying but at least you enjoyed it!

Yay for low crowds and cupcakes at DHS! I'll take a walk-on TOT any day!

Hi there! Don't know if you remember me or not, but I think we were reading each other's PTR's before our trips. I started my TR, but then neglected if VERY badly. Well, I FINALLY started it back up and posted a bunch of updates the other day. Come on over!

Anyways...I just read your whole trip report and I tried to look for myself in your pics! I know we had one day that was completely the same...MK for EMH and then Epcot in the evening (crazy downpour getting on the buses). Your trip looked amazing! Going over to check out your new PTR now!

I could go for another one too! We have a cupcake place called Crumbs near my work and they have amazing cupcakes...but not as good as Starring Rolls!!

We did enjoy CP and would go there again! It's a bummer that the timing didn't work out but..oh well!

Yes I definitely remember you, glad to see you back!!! :goodvibes Thanks for stopping :) I was over on your TR this morning and read your updates...I commented but it was through the DisBoards app and I'm not sure if it went through.

We definitely had some crazy weather during our trip this year! I'm hoping this year it rains less ;)

I'm so sad that this trip report is coming to a close! I've loved reliving the most fantastic 8 days ever (seriously, I think this was in my top 3 vacations of my life), and just like my Disney trips, I don't want it to end!! I have one, maybe two more posts that I'm going to finish tonight, and then I'll start moving on my PTR for October. Thanks for everyone that has stuck around until the end - I've loved having you all relive our trip with me! :lovestruc

Where we last left off, we had taken a break back at AK Lodge and were ready to hit the parks for our very last visit :worried: We arrived at the Magic Kingdom around 5:30 (reminder: this was a Saturday evening) and HOLY CROWDS!! Like I've noted, we had super low crowds all week but it was crazy crowded in the Magic Kingdom this evening. So, new rule - I will never go to the MK on a Saturday again!

But, we were going to make the best of it, since we were in our favorite park and it was our last night. Also - this was the second night that we had our FP+ reservations, so we had lots of plans ahead of us!

First - the crane was gone, so that was a positive!! I'm not sure if I mentioned it, but I love the Halloween decorations in the MK!

First up, we head over to Space and picked up a FP! We then made our way over to Splash because we had a FP+ and encountered our longest line all week. We were in the FP line for over 30 minutes! The ride kept stopping/breaking down and I was getting so annoyed. I didn't want to be grumpy on my last night in Disney but the crowds were getting to me :headache: I wanted to leave and just do something else, but Jess reminded me that this was our last chance for my favorite ride so we stuck it out!

Once we were done, we were pretty hungry but we had Fastpasses to use so we decided to wait it out. Next up, we had a FP+ for Haunted Mansion! This one was great - we really felt like VIPs because there isn't a regular FP line!

I was glad we got to ride again. Every time I ride this I enjoy it more. Once we were done, we were yet again super hungry but we didn't have much time before our Space FP expired! I would have skipped it, but Jess loves this ride (way more than me!), so we walked over. On the way, we walked through the parts of New Fantastyland that were open! I love the new Dumbo area - next time I want to try and ride it.

We saw the train...which I'm not sure I've seen before.

After Space, we were STARVING. It was probably around 7:45, but it felt much later. I think I actually skipped pictures for this meal, if you can believe it! We ate at Cosmic Rays and I think I got chicken nuggets and chocolate cake. I would imagine Jess had chicken nuggets as well but I honestly don't remember :confused3 Oops!

We had one more FP+ to use so we head to Town Square Theater to meet with Mickey and Minnie! I'd never done a meet and greet in here before so I wasn't sure how it worked, but in only a few minutes we were escorted into a small room. There was a mom/small child in front of us and three twenty something girls, and then us.

Now, this part is particularly devastating -small children (and sensitive adults)- LOOK AWAY!!! We were waiting for our turn with Mickey/Minnie and the girls in front of us (in their 20s) had autograph books that they were flipping through. The one girl stopped one of the other girls from flipping through and was like "Oh, that's ones mine!" - I looked, and she was talking about the signature that Pooh wrote! MEANING THAT THE GIRL STANDING IN FRONT OF US WAS POOH. They then proceeded to talk about what CMs wrote which signatures, etc. I know it's stupid, and I'm a mature adult but gah, this just upset me so much. Jess thought it was funny but I so didn't! I'm not stupid and I know that Pooh is an actual person but...no! He's Pooh! Not this chick standing in front of me!

Anyway, they proceeded onto their M&G with Mickey and Minnie and *clearly* knew who they were, which just made it worse! It was our turn next and while we got some cute pics, those girls just totally messed with my character mojo!

I will say that Minnie was so adorable and got really excited that I had a picture of her on my shirt...so she redeemed herself.

After that harrowing experience, I needed one last ride on my favorite - the PeopleMover - to calm me down. We got on at around 8:40 and then I realized that we had FP for Wishes starting at 9:00. I'm not sure why I thought I had enough time for PM and then making it all the way back to the Rose Garden for Wishes so I was stressing out the whole time! We got done on the PM at around 8:55 and rushed over to the Rose Garden, making it just in time. The reserved seats were AMAZING! We were too late to get a table but we stood and had *plenty* of elbow room. I definitely shed some tears and was so happy to be spending the last night of my trip in the MK, even if it had been a bit crazy!

Once the show was over and people left the Rose Garden, we grabbed a table to let the crowds filter out as we were planning on staying for MSEP! Can you believe I've never seen it?? After about 20 minutes, we slowly started making our way down Main St. and got an awesome spot on the hub, right near the front. We were planning for an easy exit again! The crowds were really low again as there weren't many people for the late parade so it was awesome. We did see something hilarious/sad while we were people watching/waiting for the show...there was an older man in a scooter and his wife and they were trying to navigate around the hub...they were screaming at each other and he hit his wife and then purposely backed into her with his scooter! We were silently cracking up (as were the people sitting near me), because she was clearly just giving it back to him and they were yelling at each other.

Anyway, promptly at 10:00pm, the parade started! Also what's awesome about being in the hub is that the show started right away...I took a ton of pics but here are a few of my favorites -

Jess waving to Alice!

Once the parade ended - we took one look back at the beautiful castle and raced out of there to beat the crowds. I couldn't believe we were all finished! I shed a few tears as we walked under the gates. In no time, we were seated on the bus back to the Animal Kingdom Lodge and we had one more surprise.

We were left this really nice note and a big plate of Zebra domes!!!

I'm a terrible Disser and actually didn't know that these bad boys were Zebra domes until after the fact, but they were pretty darn yummy and made for a nice bedtime treat!

We packed up, hit the hay and got up super early to catch our flight home. The DME picked us up around 5am, our flight boarded around 8:30 and we were home by 11ish. The guys did bring us this awesome cake though to finish our travels!

Once again - thank you so much for reading and commenting guys - it makes this way more fun! I hope you'll join me over on my PTR (link in my signature), and look for a new TR with lots more adventures in October!!!

That last day is always so sad. :sad1: Once again, I think we were at the MK together that night! Too bad we didn't bump into each other.

Fantastic TR! I really enjoyed it. It is TR's like yours that give me my fix until my next trip! Thanks again. :thumbsup2

Aw I'm sad that your TR is over but I'm glad it was a great trip!

I would've felt the same way with the girls in line. Like obviously adults know what's going on but it's just not one of those things you say out loud. Especially with little kids around, like would you want to be that person who ruins the magic for a kid?

FP+ doesn't excite me that much but it sounds like the FP for Wishes was cool!

I always cry when leaving MK for the last time on a trip!

Thanks for sharing your trip with us!

Great last day update!!!

I am the same way about MK, never again on a Saturday! Although I am going to Disney this 4th of july week so I guess a Saturday can't be worse than that week, lol...

So traumatizing about that people in front of you. It is so weird sometimes to think of male characters as females.

I LOVE that cookie cake that awaited you!!! We are in love with Great American Cookie cookie cakes!

Great trip report! Looking forward to your next with your new camera! :)

Wow, I can't believe it's over! A great last night for sure (well, for the most part!)
Ugh, those girls in the meet and greet line should absolutely have known better. Keep that kind of chatter behind the utilidoors ladies!
Thanks so much for sharing your trip!
