we've gone the last couple Decembers, but were not planning a trip this year.. Then b/f surprised me by out of the blue suggesting we go! I believe I'm successfully turning him into a DL fan!! (not that he'd admit that to anyone but me!) so excited. Now I've got to get to planning! I'm used to planning months in advance! did I mention I'm so excited?!

Hi Everyone -
Our plans have changed a little (long story) but my dates will now be Dec.19-26. We were suppose to be going to my sister's house for 24-25th but she now has to go to Virginia to be with her hubby- (Navy). At first we were going to cancel all together because my DH said he didn't know if he wanted to be in a hotel at Christmas without family. I reminded him that his outer family consists of 65 people and about 20 of them are under the age of ten. He said --- um okay let's still go
We are also not staying at the residence inn anymore. We were staying there for a bi-level suite that is now not needed due to sister canceling. I am still all over the place about where we will stay and have a couple places in mind. Leaning towards Embassy Suites South right now.
Today I was able to get an adr for Blue Bayou on Christmas Eve but nothing for Dec.25th. The CM I talked to said that the Plaza Inn and Liberty Terrace will both be serving a traditional Christmas Dinner but will be walk-up only.
If anyone has any ideas or suggestions of a place to eat on Christmas Day I would love to hear them. I do not want DH to regret us going ahead with our plans. We have had our airlines tickets for 6 months and I wasn't about to cancel


So at the end I get two more days in Disney !

We are definitely staying at the DLH and I'll be canceling our Kids Suite at Hojo's this afternoon. If anyone is looking for one during the time period of Dec 8 - Dec 13th, I wanted to let you know. I'm bummed to miss trying out the beautiful suites (and having two bathrooms!) but very excited to be staying on property.
