We've had threads about brand loyalty before... I'm curious. Are you picky about your potato chips? I can eat any old kind. I like them rippled though.
Cape Cod chips- either Salt and Vinegar if I am being bad- reduced fat if being good(they can't be that low fat because they are still delicious!)
Now if there is a dip around... couldn't care less what chip it is- but as I don't normally dip I do have a preference.
I prefer a light, crispy chip. I don't care for thick, hard, kettle-cooked chips. Oh, and they have to on the flat side. I don't like to eat the curled up ones. Utz are my chip of choice, Ruffles are too salty.

for dipping they have to be Hannafords rippled chips......but for my eating pleasure they have to be UTZ regular chips.....I can honestly say I have never had a better tasting chip.......I need some right now.....oh yah I have some stashed in my compartment near this computer.....later ....a little later
Any chip that is fried in lard is a favorite of mine!! Seriously, they give the chips the best flavor. There are a lot of regional chip manufacturers in my area, Kay's and Ray's, Zerbe's and Good's(in the blue bag) are some of my faves. Currently, I am eating Diffenbach's. Delish!
I really don't like chips, but my son loves Tim's brand-especially the dill pickle ones. They quit making them. He was heartbroken! He looks for them every time we go to the store and has to settle Rocky Mountain brand pickle chips instead.
