it's quick clean up time. So it's a mix of Jimmy Buffett, Sublime, LBD Allstars, Marley, James Taylor, and the Beach Boys. Right now Tin Cup Chalice - Buffett. I love this song.
my 18yo DS made this cd for me last year.
I know he has the new cd -
but I'd have to steal it from him to really check it out.
I love APC too! We saw them in Camden in 2001...
I asked my DH to get us tickets for this year & he wasn't interested.
(I have a thing about driving myself to the city,
so I have to ask him.)
We went to CKY on Halloween last year in Phila &
We are going to see HIM in Phila in May!
I have only seen APC once also. Back in 2001 I think. It was different, I difinitely felt old and out of place. And especially creepy when security requested all jewelry to be removed Of course this was at the International BallRoom in Atlanta. And honey it taint no ballroom and it taint international! More like a meat packing warehouse! LOL But not many people know of APC and I just love their sound. strange as it may sound it is so lulling to me.

They definitely have their own sound; I wish they hadn't "lost" the violinist though, she was good! I told my DS of our conversation & he gave me the 13th step last night...
this one is good, but I still like Mer de Nom better.
And about being "old and out of place",
it's all a state of mind-I think you should go to more concerts so you don't have to feel so out of place!
I've got my Robbie Williams live at Knebworth CD on. Robbie is one of Englands best pop stars and I was at the Knebworth gig last summer when he played to 125,000 people. Listening to the CD always makes me feel happy.
