Are you kidding me?! Now our advertisers can't even spell "lose"?!

I have to admit, bad spelling is a pet peeve of mine. And so many people here can't seem to get "lose" right. It gets spelled "loose". But that is "I have lost so much weight that my pants are LOOSE." If you want to weigh less, then you have some weight to "lose". Up until this point I have said NOTHING about this because I didn't want to come off as overly critical or nitpicky. I figure people are busy and typos happen and I can always go away if I don't like the spelling. But NOW.... there is a big advertisement at the top of the WISH page that asks if you want to "loose inches". I ALREADY have LOOSE INCHES.... what I would like is some toned muscle! :rotfl: Sorry... you can ignore me now.....................P

Funny! This is my pet peeve as well! I don't get that ad at the top, though, since I use the DVC skin.

I love the visual of those "loose inches" -- reminds me of the "triceps jiggle" when certain teachers would write on the blackboard. Did you click on the ad? Maybe it was for a "eat more, exercise less" plan. :confused3

I think it's silly that an advertiser gets it wrong when they are paying for it - but seriously I could care less how anyone spells anything. If I spell something wrong, oh well. If someone else spells something wrong - oh well. I knew what they meant.

Life is really to short to worry about how someone else spelled something. Not everyone has the same level of education, and I would never fault someone who wasn't a great speller.
