If so, which series are your favorite? I have read all of the Beverly Lewis ones. Some of the Wanda Brunsetter series. I am reading Cindy Woodsmill right now.

What are you reading?

I'm still reading some of the Beverly Lewis series - just finished the 5-book "Abrams Daughter's" series and a good friend sent me 2 more of her books last week..

I'm glad I saw this thread because I didn't even know there were other Amish fiction series writers! Now I'm going to have to check them out - and end up spending more money on books.. :rotfl:

I posted a whole list of Amish books on C.Ann's thread of 5-30-09 that if you search you can find it and there are many suggestions.

I have recently purchased 2 more authors, Amy Clipston--A Gift of Grace
Mary Ellis---A Widow's Hope, but I have not had a chance to read either one yet.

I love the Amish books--and to visit the Amish areas. We hope to visit the Ohio area around Walnut Creek, Sugar Creek in a few weeks, and hope to find a few more books that I haven't read.

Hope this information is helpful to somone who loves reading about the Amish.

DH and I just returned from Walnut Creek yesterday!!! We had the most wonderful time. The weather was in the 70's, nice breezes, and NO humidity!!! A perfect little getaway!!

Did you stay at Walnut CreeK? We have reservations at the Carlisle Inn, which looks nice.

Anything you saw or did that we should not miss??? We hope to mostly do some shopping and tour the country side, and eat at the restaurant.

We have been to Shipshewana, so this will be a different area for us.
