Hi!

Going to WDW in 2 weeks. I know there could be rain but reports say it's about 80 degrees.
Is it hot? Even when it rains? Can I wear a dress?
If the rain makes it super cold then I will want to pack leggings and sweaters but I am trying not to over pack my carry on. Cold wear takes up a lot of room.

I live in Orlando and our weather right now is in the mid 80's with some rain. The rain is sporadic and is very quick to pass when it does happen. And depending on how hot it was before the rain will determine how hot it is after. For example, if the rain comes at noon and it is 87 degrees, it will be hot and steamy after the rain. If it rains at 4 PM then it will be pleasant and comfortable. :)

Two weeks out is way too early to get a good forecast. Our weather changes hourly in some cases. lol. And hurricanes can change the dynamics of our weather as well. I would check a day or so before you leave for a better idea. But remember, it can and does change depending on what area you are looking at.

However, it does cool down in the evening and the rides, stores, restaraunts, monorails etc are all air conditioned. If you get cold easily it would be a good idea to pack long sleeves or a hoody that you can wear in the evenings after the sun goes down. We lose the sun at about 7:30 to 7:45 every day and if it is raining at the same time, the temps can go to 68 or so. This is not cold to natives, but it may seem chilly to others. Especially in air conditioned areas.
I doubt you will need to pack heavy sweaters as one hoody and some long sleeve tops should cover it. Leggings are usually pretty lightweight so you might want to bring a pair or two for evening/late afternoon.

Hope this helps.

Night time temps at 68. :rotfl:

That is a great day if we reach that for a daytime high right now in New England.

I'll be there in 3 weeks wearing shorts and a tank top all day and night. :cool2:

I'm good with 68 :) maybe a light cardigan. So happy and excited for my trip!!:cutie:

Don't forget your bathing suits! Pools are heated of course. :)

Just got back so in two weeks I am sure it will be a bit "cooler" but we wore shorts and t-shirts. Mostly dry wicking clothes. I think only one evening we needed a light jacket. We also used our ponchos once. Rain did not make it cooler- at least on the day it rained for an hour or two.

What NYCANC said.... We just got back as well. It was hot. Hotter and more humid than most of what we call summer here in the north. I spent two weeks in sandals and moisture wicking clothes. We had our ponchos ready but managed not to have to use them. Have a magical trip!

It's dryer but still warm. I live about 75 miles west of WDW. Very similar in weather. The highs should be in the mid to upper 80's and low's in the low 70's to high 60's. It's still kind of humid but not summer humid. Still shorts & tees and swimming weather here. Especially for northerners.

Enjoy.

Are you kidding, it was 28 degrees this morning. Your temps would still be summer here.

I wear converse all the time -- but not for a full day at Disney. Oddly enough, I have worn Kork-Ease wedges on my last two trips and had happy feet and legs. Like the others have said: it's all about what you find comfortable.

Supposed to be 88 here today and only 10% chance of rain. I would call that pretty great weather for a day at the Parks.

I live in west palm, weather still hitting 90, but getting to 70 when the sun goes down. Rain has been less constant than the summer. I would definitely pack some jeans and light jackets but dont forget your shirts and tees.
