Are you going to log-in to VMK on the LAST day?

I plan to make a last tour of the public rooms, as well as my own. Then I want to find some Dis friends to hang out with for the final closing.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to log in that day or not. I'll be at WDW, and may or may not be able to get a laptop online there. I should probably have access to a laptop, and with DVC I should have internet access, but I don't know what I'll be doing that day. That laptop hasn't been on VMK for over a year, and it will take forever to get in if I try while I'm there. I'm really hoping that someone at Disney will realize how bad shutting down VMK will be, and keep it open. I'll miss VMK and my friends.

I honestly don't know.

My computer got the blue screen of death recently, so the only way to get on vmk is on the laptop, which is the slowest thing ever, and the entire computer slows down.

Im also only weeks away from the second most important set of exams Ill ever take, so I cant allow vmk to take priority at the moment.

I didn't have terribly many friends I hung out with on vmk, so I should be able to get them over relatively soon. Most of the friends I had, have msn, or gaiaonline accounts, and I some more are getting sims online accounts.
What was keeping me online until now was making my ride thats been in the works since last year, but as the days grow shorter I think Im starting to realise that it wont be finished.
I shall plead with my parents to let me on for the final closing, which happens around 6/7am for me.
I didn't think this would affect me emotionally, but it kind of has, since I started writing this post

I just want to say again, for those of you planning on saying your goodbyes on that final evening...

I really would not be surprised at all if VMK is dead slow, crashes, or is otherwise out of commission on the 21st.

At the very least, it's going to be packed to the gills with people saying goodbye, and the fuller it gets, the slower it gets. And you know how many unscrupulous people are out there on the net - I really wouldn't be surprised if some idiot decides to try to crash the server.

So, if you can, say your goodbyes before the 21st, and treat that evening as a bonus if you can get on.

I dont know what Im going to do, I have school, possibly a project to present.
I would more then gladly skip school, but Its the end of the year, and I already missed a total of 2 weeks of school from sickness.

I imagine I will log on for one final goodbye. The 21st is a special day to me (in real life) so I probably won't be on till later. As I won't stay on till 1am EST (work the next day), I like the idea of walking out the Esplanade. Even if I could stay till 1am, I think it would just be so sad to watch the screen fade out. I want to do it on my terms.

One stupid question:

If I have my pics saved via VMK PAL, they are on my computer right? Meaninig, I do not have to worry about losing my pics on the 22nd?

I know I wont, its just a game, and life moves on. The friends I made, I talk to outside the game anyway. There are other games outside of vmk, and already have been playing another one that is disney, and for me, alot better then vmk.
