We are going to WDW the 2nd week of December. I was planning on avoiding EMH days because of the threads about how more crowded the EMH parks are. Just wondering what people are planning on doing in December. I'm not talking about xmas week...which is crazy enough...lol.

It seems a waste to NOT do EMH when we are staying at a Disney resort. But I don't want to have to deal with large crowds, either.

So, are you going to avoid the EMH parks in December?

Mary

we aren't going this Dec but have never avoided the morning emh when we have..they are great and there still are some (although shorter than busy times) lines later in the day for more popular things. the parks aren't that much more crowded on day with morning emh later in the day than any other time.

haven't been since night time emh started

I guess it would depend on the age of your children. If I had older kids I'd stay up later and do evening EMH but my DD's are 8 and 6 so they won't make it past 9pm. We're planning on avoiding parks with evening EMH but want to do the mornings since we are early risers anyway. :flower:

I am not going to do morning EMH, but I may try some of the evening EMH if they have them when we will be there. We will be there Dec. 1-8.

If current EMH plans hold true for December, we will be going to the Wednesday EMH night at MK. It's only so that we can enjoy Wishes! one more time. We love that fireworks show. I could watch it every night.

We have no other EMH's planned during our trip 12/11 to 12/17. Maggie

:wave2: Early EMH and will do this December trip.We only tour until around 11:00 am then have a nice early lunch. We then head for another park after lunch.Did evening EMH at MK in May and it was way crowded and will not do evening EMH on December trip. :goodvibes :wizard:

I did not go to the evening EMH this past summer, but did go in the mornings and that worked fine for me. I was generally able to get alot done in that hour.
We will be there 12/4-12/9, we are going to MVMCP on 12/6 but I am considering doing an evening EMH at MK in order to see Specto and the regular Wishes. The Wishes during MVMCP are nice but I like the "regular" one better.
I am hoping that the evening EMH will not be as crowded as they were in the summer, just due to the fact that the crowds are lighter this time of year.

With our itenerary for this comeing up trip we can not do the evening EMH. We are going for a short trip this time and we miss every one of the EMH nights but one. I would love to take advantage of the MK evening EMH though! Atleast we have the Christmas party! We will take advantage of the morning EMH.

I won't be able to go to WDW this December :sad1: , however have been to WDW several times during early and mid-December. I just love WDW during that time of year! Anyway, we always have, and always will, do EMH in the mornings. We have always been able to get a ton done early, and then we hop to a different park if/when the park featuring EMH gets too crowded. Keep in mind that the parks tend to have reduced hours during this period, so I have always felt as though EMH is really needed to see and do everything I want to.
