If not this may do it for ya! Yes that is the lift mechanism for Millennium Force at Cedar Point dangling from the track! Seems it snapped a few days ago! Have no worries, the park has this ride back up and running as of last night!

Millennium Force went 101 on Friday during opening test runs. Empty trains. Thank G~d!!! Sunday wasn't a good day for the rest of Cedar Point either. Magnum, Dragster, Maverick and Gemini all had periods with "operational issues".

Hopefully everything will be worked out before the 21st. That is GayDay at Cedar Point.

I never used to be afraid of roller coasters. Afterall, I was born in Sandusky and went to CP several times a year as a kid. After not going for several years I finally went back and found I've developed an uneasiness with heights. I wouldn't call it full blown fear, but looking out over the park when on the hills of the coasters and stuff definitely made me very nervous and uneasy. That said, I absolutely loved Manta on Sunday!! This is a coaster with a complete view of the park, no track or anything to obstruct your view. I definitely want to get back to CP soon. Maybe this year.

My sister liked them until she had her kid. Something with the pregnancy must have changed her ability to do coasters. Now we joke that her favorite ride is the pine ride, as in the pine park benches she sits on while we go on the coasters.
