Are you a secret snob?

Ok, I admit it...i'm a hair snob as well.

When I see people with a well defined growth line with half blond hair and half brown/gray hair, it really bothers me.

Sarah Jessica Parker's hair comes to mind. It was half one color and half another, and it looked like a rats nest.

Oh, I can definately be a lifestyle snob.

I can't stand women who spend hours obsessing over hair and clothes and can't find anything better to do than "lunch."

Also, we drove by a house this morning that is already extensively decorated for Christmas -- artsy wreaths hung everywhere, trees strung with decorations... very Country Living/Martha Stewart looking.. without even thinking I said to the kids "That Lady has WAY too much time on her hands."

Oh yes, I've seen worse too. But they weren't so CLOSE like these pictures!
Then you are strictly an amateur! ;)

Monday night at work I spent 1/2 hour changing the dressings of a man whose got complete gangrene of all his toes (we're waiting for them to "auto amputate") and the bottoms of his feet! I wore a mask but was about 6 inches from the feet to inspect the tissue and put new dressings on. :faint: It actually didn't bother me much because the man himself is so nice and we chatted during the dressing change.

:teeth: Not most people's cup of tea but hey, somebody's got to do it!!

I've got at least two: spelling and grammar and coffee.

TV snob - can't stand any of the reality shows and most of the sitcoms these days are written for imbeciles. Generally only watch news, sports, West Wing, Law & Order and scrubs.

I guess I'm a laundry detergent snob too, only Tide for this house! I love the new Tide with Downy!

Oh, and I'm addicted to the new Downy scent Lavender and Vanilla!

GRAMMAR snob....double negatives, can I or may I ...get it straight people! :p

RUDENESS snob.....yes, if I detect an ounce of rudeness, I immediately think of you as beneath me and basically ignore you.....sorry, that's just how I deal with rude people...by basically "not" dealing with them at all ;)

(I constantly catch myself making grammatical errors and accidentally being rude so I guess I'm a self "snob" as well  )

Yard Snob

If the grass isn't kept cut and the yard is trashy, then I immediately think of those living in the house as trashy.
Sorry, that's just how I am.

or way too much money. :D
Some people actually hire people to come decorate their homes for the holidays.

or way too much money.

well let me further my snobbiness by saying that given the neighborhood the house is in -- not likely. :p

Yep, I'm a snob!

I'm a brand name snob when it comes to groceries, I never buy generic food. I still look for deals, just name brand deals.

I guess I'm also a home decor and outside decor snob. I don't care where things are from, just that they look nice. I know, it's all subjective, that's what makes it snobby.

I think I'm a Christmas tree snob too. I think trees should look certain ways and not have certain things on them.

I'm so relieve to hear there are other snobs out there too!

Haircut snob. I'll pay $150 for an awesome cut/color, no problem. I have to wear my head every day, a haircut lasts 8 weeks, 56 days, under $3/day. That's worth it to me.

Definitely a food snob, grocery and restaurant.

I'm also a shampoo snob, but not a conditioner snob--I love Suave Humectant conditioner.

And I proudly join the fellowship of grammar/spelling snobs here on the DIS. ;)

I'm a bra snob. My size isn't very common here so I wear a lot of bras from France.

I'm also a clothing snob. I bought a bathing suit at Walmart but that's about it. I don't like the fit or quality of their clothes.

But above all else I'm a hair colour snob. I pay over $200 for a cut and colour, and I would never want to go anywhere else.

total lifestyle snob. was raised with parents giving me the best of everything & i'd like to be successful enough to continue having it. hopefully my hard work of 6 years in college will pay off.

My DH is a total snob when it comes to..... toilet paper! Only charmin will do for our house. I once bought a different brand, and then found out he'd gone out, gotten his own charmin, and hid it in the linen closet!

I'm a snob about being polite. If people are rude, I automatically think of them differently. ::yes::

definitely a TP snob as well
detergent snob
makeup snob

Diet Coke snob. It has to be Diet Coke.. no diet pepsi, diet non-brand, etc. I just like the taste of my coke better.

Another on the rudeness. One of my biggest pet peeves there.
TP - brand doesn't matter but has to be soft.

Definately a Diet Coke snob. I even bring my own pop to my mother's house because they drink Pepsi.

Clean kids- I hate to see little kids with kool-aid mustaches, dirty hands and faces and messed up hair. When they are playing outside it's fine, but wash them up before you take them out to dinner or shopping.

Mayo snob--I only use Hellemanns.
