I sure am! :) I just love being home in my new house! I find so much to do all the time to keep me busy! i love to decorate, make pretty things (crafts) to hang on my walls, etc. I love cooking and trying new things! I love being outside and making everything look so nice and pretty! I am just happy being at home! So I am what I call a "home buddy"! :teeth:

We tend to stay at home too

with both of us working when we do have time off we would rather stay home and do something as a family

we rarley go out to eat to the movies or anything

it works for us :goodvibes

I love staying at home. When I make plans to go out I always wonder why I did but after I get home I am glad I went :goodvibes but home is the best.

Isn't it a Home Body?

Yes I think I am considered one. I would much rather be home cooking and spending time with family. I can always find something to do, enjoy decorating and yard work.

I'm a homebody for sure! I spend 95% of my time here because I have a home office and can work there.

When I go out to eat or to a friends house, I'm so happy when it's time to go home and get into my own bed!

I just got like this though..ever since I married my DH. No reason to go out I suppose!

I love staying home! When people ask DH and I to go places we usually end up asking others just to come to our house instead. We don't really go out to eat or movies we think that home cooked food is better tasting and movie rentals are better at home. The only time we go away is on our vacations and even then at the end we are ready to come home.

I'm not but I wish I were! I am not domestic at all and despise cooking, cleaning and yardwork. I don't watch TV although i do enjoy renting movies, playing games with my DDs, and reading. But I get antsy after spending too much time at home and after a while I just need to get OUT - to a restaurant, mall, the movies, the lake..even outside for a walk with the girls. I'd like to say it's because I'm here so much (I work from home) but I was this way when I went to the office everyday, too.

I love to be home, too, and I have a hard time understanding people who say they'd be bored if they stayed home all the time. I can always find something to do--I even like cleaning it.

I've done the at home thing off and on over the last few years. I have to admit....the first 3 weeks or so, I'm thrilled. Then, everything is clean, everything is organized and I'm left sitting there watching Paternity Tests on Maury Povich.

I don't have kids, so it's just me and the cats. I start to hate the cats.

I love my house though. I had a dream I sold my house and moved to a condo. It was a nice condo, but I was so sad. I woke up and looked around and nearly cried because I was still in my house!

I am for sure a homebody. My family makes fun of me, call me a hermit. I just really enjoy being home, being on the DIS, curling up with a good book, loving on my pets....etc....

I have been in a clean out clutter mode, so for the first time I actually feel like a productive hermit! :goodvibes

There is no place like home-unless it's WDW !!!!

I totaly agree! I love to be at home, every summer I take at least one week off from work where I can just stay home and enjoy my house, the yard and the pool. I'll invite people over, but I won't go anywhere, not even out to dinner. SO used to think I was nuts (he would work the week I was off) until he took the week with me one year, now he looks forward to it as much as I do.

And last night DD(19) said mom I think I'm homesick for WDW. I miss it sooo much! (We just got back from a trip 11 days ago).

I love being at home  I stay at home with my 5 month old neice princess: and I love it we go out around 1.30 to get my son pirate: and my other neice princess: at school and I can't wait to get back home ...

so I quess I am a home body ...

I always thought it was "home-body." :confused3

You know I am not the sharpest pencil in the box! :rotfl2: I think your right on this! Thanks, but I still love being home! :rotfl:

I remember a few years ago when "Cocooning" was the new fad. It was the only time I've ever been ahead of the curve, because I've always loved being at home. All of my leisure time activities are home-based - reading, needlepoint, watching TV, the computer, etc. And I love to putter around my house - cleaning out the pantry or organizing cleaning supplies can keep me occupied and amused for hours!!!!!

I love my house, too - I've been in it three years and I'm still not tired of what I call "walking around and patting the furniture." I love to plan what I'll do next, even if things don't get done too quickly!!!!

DH and I love being home. We rent DVD from Netflix, and enjoy watching movies from home better then going out, it's just much more comfortable!! :cloud9:
