Are you a HH owner? Original or on resale? Using other DVC points?

I am a HHI owner, but not enough points. Would love to have more- (don't we all???) We go every other year now, but would like to go every year!!

DeerH

I own at VWL, but usually go to HH for a four or five day trip once a year.

We first bought at OKW, but did 3 separate add-ons at HH. We love it there and it's only about a 5-hour drive for us, so we can make the trip fairly easily. I love the resort, but I actually wish I could live in the Hilton Head area ;)

I do not own there but we go once a year also, we just love it there, walking to the beach and riding bikes just a very relaxing place. :cool1:

We bought our first set of points at BWV, but later added on two smaller HH contracts from Disney. The first HH add-on we did was 100 points. We decided we loved it there so much that we later added on another 65 points, so that we could go 5 days in a 2 BR each summer. We tried to purchase another 100 points through resale last summer, but it was ROFRed by Disney.

We've bought a 50 point resale for HH and just added 50 points at SSR. We have yet to use our points and probably won't make it to HH until 2008ish.

But, it's "purdy" and I can't wait to go and relax there!

I bought 165 HH points directly from Disney two years ago. We go every summer for five nights in a 2BR. We are leaving this Sunday - can't wait!!!!

We own 200 HH points directly from Disney which we purchased in 1999. I have never had trouble getting into some WDW dvc even at holiday times and I love being able to book HH at 11 months out for the summer.

We own 232 points at Hilton Head. So far, we have only used those points at HH. We have another contract at SSR.

We started with 100 points, thinking we'd go every other year. Next summer, we added another 82 so we could have enough for a 1 bedroom, every summer. Summer after that, we added another 50 so we now have enough to spend 1 week in a two bedroom every summer. :thumbsup2

DVCLiz, we also leave this Sunday. Can't wait! :jumping1:

We bought 240 points at HH from Disney in 1999 (didn't even know it was a time share property when we went there, just asked our TA to book us somewhere "kid friendly"). We've only been back once on points but that's only because we had never been to Disney and have been taking advantage of some of the other properties. Have never regretted for a second our decision, but do wish I had more points. Love those cruises!

We own at HH. Bought direct from Disney and then added on from Disney. We love HH and have gone every year . Next week will be our 4th trip there, in the 4 years we have owned. We have also used points once at WVL. A summer without HH is just not summer!!

We own HHI and have never been there and have no plans on ever going there. We bought HHI because of the incentive offered at the time of our purchase we changed from VWL to HHI and saved over 2K on the purchase price. Kinda glad we didn't buy VWL we stayed there in 01 and hated the place.

Own HH and have never used the points there. Bought as original. Stayed there on a paid visit. Just not for me, I much perfer to be within the bounds of Sea Pines or Palmetto Dunes Plantation.

Some day I plan to sell those 50 points.

250 points, purchased last year. And, we are leaving tomorrow for our 1st Hilton Head Disney vacation. This will be our 2nd Disney DVC vacation this summer! Go Vols!!

Hey, we will be there Sunday too!
We have 150 which isn't enough since we need (at least) a 2 bdm, though I am actually considering selling. We LOVE Disney's HHI, but we will need to find a pet-friendly place to stay on future visits. That leaves Disney out. :sad2:

We are thinking of doing an add on at Hilton Head. Does anyone know what Disney is charging per point?

It's going to leave a lot of places out there. I "think" the Westin may let you bring pets. I know that Marriott doesn't, nor do the Sea Pines rentals or any of the private rentals my family has used. (If they did my brother would probably bring the dogs as opposed to paying the kennel fees so I am glad LOL!)

I wasn't looking at resorts. I found a house, a townhouse, and several condos that are pet friendly. We may give one of those a try next year.
