For me it was when she pole danced at the teen choice awards. That's when any respect I had for her melted.

As for the music video I thought it was trashy and sleazy, but that's just me.

Plus, her new music video is completely inappropriate. She's still a children's TV star with avid and technolgically-savvy fans; they will see it and want to copy her. Plus, she doesn't seem grateful ever. I definately get the vibe that she takes her fame for granted.

Exactly, take Taylor Swift for example. She's a teenager music artist who conducts herself with grace and modesty and she's still got tons of fans.

I am such a big fan and love Hannah Montana and her films and music. I also quite like her style... i don't judge her from the mistakes she's made because we've all made mistakes she's just had to do them in the public and I much prefer her new style espicailly the new single Cant Be Tamed because it is a lot more grown-up and so nearer to what I listen to.
I think people who say she shouldnt grow up are quite idiotic because its inevitable that she is going to have to appeal more to older fans because all of her tween fans are growing up anyway. Most of my friends dont really have an opinion on her but I can relate to her more than any other celeb because she is like 6 months younger than me so I can relate to me growing up with her career and her choices...

And just like any other Disney star she has to grow up and become more known in the real music business than just the poppy children music which let's face it doesnt get into the charts .. shes not the only one, hilary duff, christina agurila and britney spears all did [though britney is prob not a very good person to follow the footsteps in and we also wont talk about lindsey lohan]

If she was older like say at least 20 i don't think i would mind her being like that as much. It's the fact that she is so young and everyone is like "oooh she's just a normal teenager". I certainly don't act like that and neither do ANY of my friends. She's fueling the bad reputations that teens already have. And not to mention her parents are crazy....i know my parents and all the other parents i know would never let me or their kids act like that and i don't think they should either. And i hate the "oh it's because of the business she's in". Her being in this business has NOTHING to do with it. There are soo many other Women who have grown up in the same way but haven't acted like that. For example, like someone said earlier, Taylor Swift, Miranda Cosgrove, and for actresses, Emma Watson. They've all grown-up, or are growing up in the spotlight and they never presented themselves like that. They know how to conduct themselves.
It just makes bothers when people make excuses for her acting like that.
