I know Epcot has some Wine and Beer carts for drinks to go. Are these shown on the map? Last year we had dinner at Germany and discovered they do not have Chardonnay (which is all DM drinks.) This year, we need to remember to get her a chardonnay at the closest stand before going into Germany for dinner.

ANy help? Anyone know which carry (decent?) chardonnay? Do Italy and France have it?

Oh boy - I think I can help. I sniff out wine wherever.

The carts aren't listed on the maps. In Germany, definitely go into the wine shop. They will have tastings available and you can buy by the glassful and take it to go if you want. Same with France. France also has a kiosk outside with a decent Chardonnay if you don't want to go into the shop. Norway has something as well (if it's open and that's hit and miss these days).

Limited selections but available. Bring back the wine at the Fountain View Bakery, please!

I think there is also a place to buy wine outside the American Adventure.

Thanks for the help. The problem I foresee at the Germany shop is that if the restaurant didn't carry Chardonnay, the shop won't either. They did have other kinds of wine, but she didn't like it. I got the impression from the waiter last time, that since Char. is not popular in Germany, they don't have it in that pavillion.

I just noticed that Italy is next door. Anyone know if they have a good selections of wines one can buy by the glass and carry out?

Me, I love the German bier. I'm already wondering the opposite. When we have dinner at Rose and Crown, where can I get a HefeWeisen (german beer)? Germany and UK are a looong walk from one another.

(Not that it is all about the drinks, but after a loong day with 4 young boys, I'll be looking around for something relaxing about 6:00.)

You can get adult beverages at every country around world showcase. Each beverage is native to that country. One of the favorite parts of my trip is having beers around the world. On our last trip was the first time I ever completed all eleven!!!...lol...

Unfortunately, in order to have the German beer, you would have to make that walk.

If you do enjoy sampling different types of beers & wines, try some from all of the countries. Canada has a delicious ice wine that my wife loves. It's expensive (about 20 bucks for a small glass) but it's good.

You can get any drink at Epcot or other theme park "to go". You just can't take them out of the park. So pick up your favorite when you see it and enjoy.
