Well, let's start this off!!

:wave: Me! Bob, crazed Disney fan;
:love: DW, Julie, Goes along but thinks she married a big kid;
princess: DD, Nikki, 7, lover of ALL the Disney princesses;
:car: DS, Ethan, 6, KACHOW!!!; and
:joker: DS, Zachary, 5, Buzz Lightyear fan and Jr Space Ranger.
:cat: DC, Cooper, could care less

Now, we haven't been to the world since December 2004, and I had originally planned a February 2007 trip for quite some time. Unfortunately, the resort I had originally wanted (Poly) had no (apparent) availability for the planned week(read: Daddy waited to long to book! :furious: ). We then decided to stay at the ASM, where they have the family suites. But before I booked it I took an unofficial poll on the DIS and confirmed what I new all along, Deluxe trumps value every time. So now what? Well, with the help of Small World Vacations, we booked a 7-day, 6-night trip for December 2nd-8th....2007!!!
:eek: What was I thinking? :confused3

Our logic (our? this is all my doing, my wife is convinced I am certifiable :crazy: ) is that we LOVED WDW in December. And the crowds are light, and the price is right!! So we made the reservation for the Poly (with hopper passes included and the Magic Your Way w/ Dining pkg), secured the deposit, and now wait...and wait...and WAIT!!!

One year, (less than) one month, until we are back...but who's counting?

:grouphug: WE ALL ARE!!!

Thanks for reading!! (don't hold your breath though :rotfl: )
Bob.

Oh, man. That is far off. We all gotta start somewhere. We booked somewhere around 135 days. At least you have the dis and all these wonderful trip reports to keep you going.

I booked our trip Feb 06 for a Sept 07 visit. I was originally thinking Feb 07 but then we are doing the cruise also and the cost was much better going in Sept and since I can't save $8-10k in 7 months, it was booked for 2007. Saved over $1,000 on the cruise booking it so early. Also, I have heard the water is pretty cold in February so Sept won out again. All of the Disney boards have gotten me through and I just book our airfare this afternoon. WOOHOO!!! :cool1: :cool1:
