This was kinda a last minute trip; we were suppose to be going to San Diego and then Disneyland, but at the last minute San Diego was just to expensive to do. And we switched to taking a trip to the world.

With the room rates at 30% off why not! Now we just need to get our park tickets.
We have the rental car, got an awesome deal! and with a one year old I kept reading how much better it is when you have your own car. So now its just the waiting and planning game time!

Now for the who:

ME: 25 years old and have been an Disney lover since day one (just like DS). This will be my 9th time attempting the world! I"m the planner the one who does everything and the only one that is going that has been before!

DH: 25 years old and never been to Disney; except Disneyland paris! But hes unsure if he will be able to make the trip due to work. Hopefully this week we will know! Otherwise hes going to miss out on all the fun.

DSIL: 19 years old and never been to Disney; the most excited one of all that's been saving for months! Loves princesses and thinks she is one! LOL we love her though!

DS: Soon to be 1 year old; will be turning 1 while in Disney. Loves Mickey Mouse and Jake and the neverland pirates! and loves getting into everything!

We went when our son was 1 1/2 years old...it was great.
He was young enough not to be scared on anything, yet old enough to recognize Mickey.

He loved Chef Mickeys, small world and of all things the Tiki room!!

We stayed at Contemporary and it was very convenient with a little one to return to room for naps. We put him in his pjs and stroller and watched Wishes from the roof, then went back to room for bed.

We also took him over to Ft. Wilderness to the pony rides, and petting zoo.

Enjoy your trip!!!

That's great to know! I didn't even know that Ft. Wilderness had pony rides and petting zoo! That's a great idea!

:cool1:So I have a few minutes to keep writing as Braxton my 11 month old is napping... the silence in the house is wonderful for the 1-2 hours we get!

We will be staying at POP since we just bought a house that we close on right after we come back from vacation. So I had to keep it on a budget and as much as I love the all the villas and the monorail resorts this time it wasn't happening. So I had read pop is the next best thing if you are on a budget. It has everything that we were looking for and honestly I have stayed at a value 3 other times sports and movies and being a Disney hotel I thought it was a wonderful stay for the time that you are in the room!

So due to the budget POP it was!

So I have booked POP for 5 nights May 2- May 7.

We have a 3 hour flight nonstop on the way there a 5 hour flight with one stop on the way back. Southwest has the best deals plus they don't charge for bags and you get up to 2 per person!

Were going to bring our car seat and stroller. We actually have the city mini; the same one that all the big rental companies give everyone when renting. Being that southwest allows you to check one stroller and one car seat what the heck, might as well bring my own instead of spending money to rent.

So everywhere I read everyone says to rent a car with an infant at Disney making it easier to get in and out of the parks instead of waiting for the buses. Also I figured quicker to get to each resort for our reservations and going to DTD and the BW. I love walking around those two and shopping!

We got an awesome deal on a rental car through Costco. It was actually so cheap and a mid-size car that I honestly can not cancel it! Anyone know the price of gas in Disney, I'm guessing its no different than up here in CT, we pay almost 3.80-4/ gallon it is insane!

So I will be back to write the full pre-trip report!

So I have done our ADRS however there not really final!

May 2 Thursday: Boma Dinner
May 3 Friday: Hollywood and Vine Lunch (final!) because we have to see jake!
May 4 Saturday: Paridiso 37 Dinner
May 5 Sunday: Well be at EPCOT that day so I figured we would eat where ever!
May 6 Monday: Cape May Café Dinner (really not wanting to keep this one!)
May 7 Tuesday: Ohana Breakfast
