If we are staying at Pop Century are we able to go to the other value resorts to visit and check out the big statues and stuff like that for pictures? We stayed at ASMo last time but my youngest didnt get to go so I would love to take her by there just to walk around and perhaps do so with the other resorts on one of our leisure days..

All you have to do is hop on a bus that goes to any of the parks and from there get on a bus that goes to that resort. Pick a park that is the closest to that resort. I did this last August and go lucky - I was staying at Pop but I wanted to go to the Animal Kingdom lodge and check it out. I didn't have to transer because the bus was empty and the driver took us directly to the lodge. Either way it's no big deal.

You can go to any resort. You can eat there and walk around, but you can't use the pool.

Hope that helps.

Great!! Thanks for the reply.. I would just like to take a little time and walk thru each of the value resorts to take some pictures of the kids with the different characters and stuff that they have around the grounds..

if you have a car - just tell the security guard you want to check out the resort for your next stay - or guaranteed you want to eat lunch there.

you can visit any WDW resorts - just be aware that the security guards will ask for ID (driver license) and will write down your car tags - if you drive.

if you go the parks - then the hotel of your choice - either bus, boat or monrail - you aren't asked for any ID.

if the resort is having problems - you might be asked for your resort ID - it generally doesn't matter than your resort ID is not the resort you are visiting - just that it is a WDW ID.

We just returned on 10/28, where we stayed at AS Sports. We visited Pop Century, Polynesian, Wilderness Lodge, and Contemporary.

The only one who asked us for any kind of ID was the Contemporary, but that was first thing in the morning, and we were driving over for our Chef Mickey's breakfast. And, they only asked our name to cross off the list...no asking for proof of ID.

However, even though we drove to the others, the guards did nothing more than say "hello", saw our resort paper on the dashboard, and waved us through.

It wouldn't hurt to have the ID handy, just in case, but we were not asked for it at all.
