Are they trying to get rid of us early?? (ME question)

I explained to the CM that we're staying at ASMo for 3 nights and then moving over to OKW for a remaining 5 nights for our trip in Sept. I was assured at the time of making these original plans that our luggage would be moved by Disney, and it was no problem etc, etc.

Now that I'm fine tuning our plans (ordered tickets and so on) I booked magical express and she said she couldn't put anything on behalf of OKW, so she'd make a comment on my sheet that we'd be coming in on 9/22 from MCO and needed magical express and that we'd be leaving 9/30 from OKW and needed ME then also.

HOWEVER - I got our reservation envelope yesterday and all it says is that we're leaving 9/25 from ASMo and needed magical express to get to MCO that day! I realize that this is a fairly new system, but this must be a common thing (2 resorts - 1 trip) and I would think they'd have a way to muddle through it... any ideas on what I should do or say... or should I wait until we get down there and speak one on one with someone??

BIGGEST FEAR: we get to OKW on 9/25 just as our luggage is heading down ramp in Pennsylvania!

Hint: ME reservations for returning home can be modified any time after you get there, until a day before returning home. Limited modifications, possibly having to leave sooner than desired, allowed on your last day.

Also, luggage is never removed from rooms and delivered to airlines, you must manually take baggage to the resort airline advance check in desk, or to the ME bus if your airline is not represented at the resort (not participating).

Are you using points for your stay at OKW? If so, CRO would have no way of accessing your DVC reservations. Call MS to arrange ME from OKW.

We are doing something similar in Nov (DVC first then 5 nights at CR)....The easiest way is to book DME seperately...in your case just book DME 1 way with your ASMo reservation (to the hotel from the airport)...then on the day you check out, just call bell services and tell them you are moving to OKW and they will have the luggage sent over there for you. (beware....your luggage probably won't get to OKW until 3PM or so)....

Then with your DVC reservation just book DME 1 way (back to the airport) and take your luggage to the airline checkin desk on your check out day.

Member Services at DVC told me to do it this way because it kept the DME people from getting confused because the DVC member reservation system is totally seperate from the CRO system....and it worked the first time.
