Are they really my friends?

Ok, so my friends always go out to movies, wonderland, bowling and parties. I never go because i'd rather stay at home. But my friends make fun of me because of that! My one friend said "Well im going to have a party but its inevitable that melanie will come". Oh and than someone "friend" called me Mommas girl just because I didnt want to go to the movies.

It's rude and I dont like it....are they really my friends?

If your friends are making fun of you then are they really your friends
If its only been a few times and spread apart then its just joking
But if its constantly then you should rethink who your real friends are

Melanie, If they are truely your friends they should respect your wishes of what you want to do and not criticize and make fun of it. You may want to pull aside the friend that you feel is the closet to you and say that all that making fun of you hurts you. And then see how she responds.
