I remember seeing a thread somewhere that mods and Deluxes were getting room refrigerators at no charge. Are they doing this for values too? I'm planning a 1st time, budget trip for a coworker and this could make or break a planned grocery stop.

Thanks!

No they aren't, the value resorts are the only ones that will not have the free fridge. Not sure what the charge will be for them but it was $10 per day. When Disney has codes out, you can get a Moderate for as little as $20 per day more, so with the free frige there, it may not be worth staying at the values if you can get a good discount (or not get the fridge and bring your own). I just recently bought a mini one for the car. It plugs into the ashtray. I have a converter that will allow me to use it in an electrical outlet so next week I will be bringing it with me. It holds maybe a 12 pack??? Only paid $15 at Target. I really only want it for some cold-cuts & milk. I feel like a little kid with a new toy & can't wait to see how it works :mickeybar

A Baby's Best Friend is used by many DIS'rs,
& they rent fridges for a lot less than the
$10 + tax per day Disney charges.
They'll deliver right to the front desk,
and your fridge will be waiting for you.
I've never used them, but have heard
nothing but good things about them on the Boards.
Their web address is www.abbf.com

We use A Baby’s Best Friend every time we go to WDW. They will deliver a fridge to the luggage room for us before we even get there for $45 for the whole week. (We used the $25 savings and rented a microwave from them too). It holds A LOT of stuff, too. You can see a picture on the website. www.abbf.com

If you end up in a value resort, this is the way to go.

Have Fun!

The official stance from Disney (when you write them) is that you can't cook in your room. Yet the luggage people accepted a microwave for you. No wonder people get confused about cooking in their rooms LOL.

We were planning on first 3 days at Pop Century (2 rooms 5 people), however I am dissapointed you still have to pay for a fridge.

Thanks to everyone for their help! I may keep the moderate option in mind, depends how the numbers shake out. Now if Disney would just release the codes already! :badpc:

do they do this at the cornado resort this would help me out tremedously
