Are these good choices?

So the Jan park hours came out and messed up my plans :rotfl2:

Due to needing to see Spectromagic (which is only occuring 3 times during our trip) we are going to go to MK on an EMH morning. That negated my Crystal Palace before park opening plan and changed some other days around.

It's DBF and I for his first trip, he is a fairly picky/plain eater- very meat and potatoes (and loves "Cajun" hence House of Blues). We are hopefully staying at the WL but don't have a reservation yet due to lack of Jan 08 rates (best friend is making them with his CM discount for us). We won't have a car at DBF's request but I have budgeted for cab fare for meals that would take long for travel:

Jan 2nd: Arrival, Kona for dinner around 8ish
Jan 3rd: MK for EMH, Crystal Palace around 10am
Jan 4th: Kona around 10am, Le Cellier around 7pm for dinner (Coral Reef if no Le Cellier)
Jan 5th: House of Blues for Dinner
Jan 6th: 2:30ish 50's PTC lunch
Jan 7th: Le Cellier for dinner if not on 1/4 or Trails End
Jan 8th: Boma 10:30ish for breakfast, departure

Anything you would change? I'm figuring that once I call and make the ADR, I'm not switching anything :rotfl:

On your list, I've only done Crystal Palace (for lunch) and Boma's for breakfast. Both of them were awesome food. Tons to choose from so I think even a picky eater would be happy :).

I think you'll be fine--my only slight concern would be Kona for dinner. I don't remember their "normal" offerings as I am a more adventurous eater.

They sound great, those are some of our favorite places!!

That meal is for me :rotfl2: - I'm a more adventurous eater and keep hearing great things about the food. He is a big boy and can find something to eat. The rest of the week I checked and double checked that he would be have choices on the menu.

Part of me wishes I could pick some more adventurous places (or even nicer places like flying fish...) but while DBF wouldn't complain, it's not his type of meal and it's his vacation too :goodvibes

Good choices, have a great vacation.
