We want to get to DTD for DQ as soon as possible from MGM Studio's.
We have no car and have to use WDW transportation.

I know taxi's sit outside Deluxe resorts (Y/BC. CR, Poly, Dolphin....)

But what about the WDW Parks ?
Do taxi's wait for customers too ?

A taxi would be our fastest form od transportation from MGM Studio's to DTD- DQ.

Does anyone know ? :confused3

A friend was just telling me that they used a taxi a bunch on their last trip to just get somewhere quick and not wait for the bus. I will find out if she got one at a park though, that I am not sure of. She said over the course of the week, they spent a lot less than a rental. They did use the busses a lot though, not all the time.

Other than the resorts, I have only physically seen them waiting at Epcot, but mostly when the park is closing and the lines for the busses are packed. I"m sure you could go to Guest Services at any park and arrange for a taxi pick-up. hope that helps

Although I have never used a taxi from one of the disney parks, I have to believe that they are sitting there waiting for people. We have done this from Seaworld and Universal. You leave the parks there and head towards the buses and there are always a line of taxis waiting to give people rides. I have to believe that the same thing happens at the disney parks. The only exception to this would be the MK. There the taxis would have to be at the TTC. Nothing except the disney buses can get to the front of the MK.

We've grabbed a taxi from MGM and Epcot to DTD in the past. beware, they run on time and distance, and if you get hung up in traffic it could easily cost you $20 + tip.

Another option is walking to the BW and taking the DTD bus from there.

At Epcot the taxi waiting area is near the bus stops,

At the Studios, the taxi waiting area is near the bus stop "information booth", near handicapped parking

At Animal Kingdom, while not certain, I'm pretty sure the taxi waiting area is near the front of the parking lot near handicapped parking (not near the bus stops)

At Magic Kingdom, you would have to go to the TTC, OR even easier walk over to the Contemporary.
