Are there songs that you hate that gets lots of radio air time?

Ok, when the song is played more than 6 times in one day, then it gets to be too much.......

but, the payback, is when I am 'hauling' the kiddies and a few of their friends and someone starts singing. Well.... I start too. All their friends think its cool that I know the words to the songs, but it TOTALLY embarrasses my kids. (One of the RARE joys of being parent of a teen)

Anything that we do that our kid's friends think is cool, but embarrasses our kids, would embarrass those same friends if their parents did it.

I wonder how often a song like "You're Beautiful" is played on a hits station a day. I still haven't heard the Hump song, at least not that I know. I'll mention it to my kids so they can point it out. I have headt the Photograph song a lot--I like it ok, except it is overplayed. Haven't hear Tear You Apart. Need to turn off the hits station.

I love the song "My Humps" I think its funny

I don't know why- but I love it too. Yup- it is sleazy, and no, my kids don't listen to it. Lyrics aside, I think it's a well written song.

Really? I just can't get over someone singing about her "lovely lady lumps". It just sounds gross to me.

I don't know the name of the song, but I think Kelly Clarkson sings it and it's about how some guy ruined this girl's life. The name of it may be "Because of You". And it gives all the things she doesn't do anymore (love, trust, etc.) because of some guy.

I hate the message that it sends to young girls...that some guy can ruin your life.

"You're Beautiful" is right up there...along with "I Run For Life". I know the message it's sending, but I'm so SICK of hearing it...I just cringe every time it comes on the radio.

Oooh, I hate that song too!! And the local radio plays it ALL. THE. TIME!!! I swear they are trying to torture me. Another particularly teeth-gnashing song I have heard a lot lately is "L.O.V.E." by Ashley Simpson. So annoying, and it always gets stuck in my head.

I don't care for this song either. I can't really jam in my car to music blaming parents for adult issues and such. Other than this song, I love Kelly.
