Are there restrictions on my upgraded dining plan?

So I started with the Summer Meal Offer which includes 1 QS credit per person per night. I upgraded to the DDP with 1 TS meal and 1QS. A couple of questions:

1. I recently noticed in the restrictions of the SMO that "Alcoholic Beverages and Gratuities are not included". Since alcoholic beverages are included in the normal 2018 DP would our QS entitlements be treated differently in the system? In other words will the CM know that we have SMO QS entitlements instead of the normal ones and charge us for alcohol separately instead of including it?

2. If the answer to #1 is "yes" is this alcohol restriction removed when I upgrade to the regular DDP?

EDITED
I've included a screenshot of the Alcoholic Beverage restriction which contradicts the SMO FAQ which says the they are included. I'm confused... Can anyone set me straight?

Sounds like the SMO info just didn't get updated for this year's new inclusion. Based on past copy from Disney, some of us think they do a lot of cut and paste when new promos come out and no one edits to see if anything has changed.

Don't worry, you'll get the alcoholic inclusion with both meals. Point of sale has no way of knowing what kind of plan you have (SMO, free, paid, etc); they just know you have credits.

That's what I was expecting/ hoping. I wasn't questioning any of this until I happened to click on the blue "Offer Details" next to my reservation while I was changing some other things. It makes sense that they just didn't correct it for 2018 yet. Thanks!
