Debating bring my laptop to Disney. Are there any cafe's or places to go online if need be and you have no laptop with you, were staying at POR..thanks
Not usually... If you don't bring your laptop, than you will probably have a high risk of not having a computer to get on to check e-mail. My Dad ALWAYS brings his when we go because he doesn't like to stay all day at the parks. The only place to access the internet (which is not free, mind you) is from your hotel room.
I dont want to rent one just to quickly check email or banking etc . I cant believe they dont have something even like at the airport were you pay and go online for 5 mins at those booths...????anyone else know
We are staying at POR as well. If they don't have a place to check e-mail, etc, is there a way to check into your airline the night before. We are flying southwest so we can't participate in the automatic checkin/luggage thing. I would just like to be able to check in and print our boarding passes the night before so we don't get stuck in one of the last groups to board.

They actually used to have computer kiosks at the parks and in many of the resorts. I used them quite a bit to check work emails and such. I THINK they probably got rid of them because every time we saw one there would be children hammering away on them. I mean pounding and slamming their little fists on the keyboard. Can't imagine they held up very well to that abuse.
Currently I just use the various business centers around property. Good luck on your hunt for them! LOL

I really like the business center at CSR... it has two workstations... you can print boarding passes for free and its not TOO expensive to just go on check email/facebook. I think I paid $2 the last time I went. And, my favorite part, they have a Disney themed clock with the current time at each Disney Park.
