Wishful thinking?
Just bring a portable charger.
Exactly, why waste expensive park time sitting by an outlet when you can plug into the portable charger that you are carrying (in a pocket or purse) and keep going.Just bring a portable charger.
Buy a good quality brand. I've had Anker chargers last for several years.I've had the worst luck with portable chargers and gave up after three lasted less than a month.

Portable chargers don’t last forever. You do need to recharge them. I have a 20000mAh Jackery charger and that will get me about 5 days before needing to be recharged. Anker is another good brand. Otherwise you can get a fuel rod in the parks and exchange them when they run out.I had an Anker and it didn't even last the entire week in Disney. I just ordered another portable charger on Amazon, maybe my luck has changed.
How many times had you charged it?I had an Anker and it didn't even last the entire week in Disney. I just ordered another portable charger on Amazon, maybe my luck has changed.

I just thought of something: do you know that you need to recharge your portable charger?

It definitely makes a difference to get a reliable brand when it comes to portable chargers. I also find that the newer ones are WAY better than the ones from only a few years ago. I personally really like the Anker ones- reasonable price (usually 15-20 for one that can get you 2 charges and is not too heavy to carry around) and they seem to last a long time. I've only had to replace because they got lost. Also have a largery Jackery bar type that can charge larger devices, but it's rather heavy for a day at the parks.I've had the worst luck with portable chargers and gave up after three lasted less than a month.
Order a Fuel Rod online for like $20 then swap it out at the kiosks on property when it’s dead.
Never have to worry about charging it. We bought one at Disneyland (costs $30 in park) and it was the best investment. We swapped it out 1-2 times a day all week
They are all different. Among my generic chargers: My old one has (4) lights indicating general capacity in 25% increments. My newer one has a 3-digit LED and shows the number percentage. But my smallest fuel-rod shaped one has no indicators. How many times had you charged it?
