I have been a fan of Jake's for a long time now, ever since seeing Donnie Darko. Just wanted to mention him and see if anyone else was "in love with him" like i am. He's been promoting "The Day After Tomorrow" lately so he's been on tv quite a bit and in magazines. He was on Leno last night, will be on Ellen Monday, and is on the cover of GQ.

Love his sister Maggie too. Great talent in both of them.

I think he is SOO cute. And talented. The first thing I saw him in was Bubble Boy and even though it was a terrible movie, I knew he would become something big.


Can't wait to see his new movie...Dennis Quaid isn't so bad to look at either.

Donnie Darko is one of my very favorite movies.

He seems to play similar characters/roles in everything I've seen him in (Highway, The Good Girl, Donnie Darko)--always so disturbed--with the exception of Bubble Boy.

I'm a fan....but also my DH dear zurgie is a relative by marriage.

My husbands Aunt is also Jake's Great Aunt....I think I got that right...his grandmother lives right in my town....but unfortunately I've never seen the family when they have come to town...


But I still love the movies he is in...cutie pie!!!

I love Donnie Darko...own it, but still havn't "gotten" it yet. That's part of it's beauty (as i'm sure most people would say). I've seen him in just about every movie he's been in. Loved Highway and actually also love Bubble Boy. I remember thinking that it looked awful when seeing its trailor on tv, but watched it one day, many days ago, and actually fell in love with it.

ZSurgswife--how cool to be related (by marriage) to the Gyllenhaal family. I just can't help but fall into those big blue eyes of his and that adorable smile. He is quite lovely.
