Are there lots of places to eat near Windsor Hills?

Seriously considering an off-site rental for our next trip

I worry about access to food - Are there lots of family friendly restaurants near by?

What about grocery stores?

I will need to stock up our first day - and then I'm sure we'll want to eat out a few times.

Have no fear there's tons of restaurants within 3-5 min. There are any amounts of convenience stores and there's a MarketPlace ( Winn Dixie) about 3 minutes west on 192, a Publix less than 5 minutes west on 192 and a Super Walmart about 10 min west on 192 and at the north exit on 27. The Publix is better than the MarketPlace store. This map will show the Publix and Walmarts: http://www.thedibb.co.uk/villa-map.php
Just scroll through the names and find Windsor Hill down in the bottom right corner and it will zoom in to that area. The whole length of 192 is nothing but restaurants, hotels and souvenir and convenience shops. There's a Black Angus Steakhouse within 1 minute of leaving the entrance to WH.

I might add that the grocery stores near Disney on hwy 192 are expensive. Every time we went all I saw shopping there were tourists, so I can see why the prices are so high. We paid something like $4.79 for a gallon of milk and bread was over $3.00 a loaf for whole wheat. Maybe that's how it is all over Orlando, but I would think you could do much better at the Super Wal-Mart.

We paid 3.99 for milk at Walgreens of all places. Some things were higher in one place and less in another.

There is a Wal-mart Super center just north of 192 on highway 27.I lived in Indian Oaks it was about a 10 min drive.
