Are there fewer kids at Napa Rose than at CCR?

While requests at check in can't be guaranteed, at least you can ask. We've asked the host/ess about sitting at a quiet table if possible. They know who the rowdy families are since they seated them. If it's been a long day, I let the CM know and say that we're willing to wait if necessary for a quieter dining spot.

I have one kid who would have enjoyed both at the age of 6 (and behaved beautifully- he loved the experience of nice restaurants) and another who would be an absolute train wreck. We may push her limits to Blue Bayou if things go well, but we're not inflicting her on Steakhouse 55, CCR or NR. That way lies madness. There's a well rated kid's club in the Grand Californian and we'll be making use of that for an adult meal.

Complain to the server. Kids like that are an active hazard to them and you are actually doing them a favor by speaking up- which I would never have known.
Thanks for posting this. I had no idea that the servers could step in if we complained. I have seen kids running around so much that they almost cause a collision with the servers. That could be very dangerous.
