Are there family rooms for breastfeeding in Disneyland or CA?

There's a family center in each park with small curtained off areas for breastfeeding. I'm not sure if there's an outlet in there for pumping. It's nice, quiet, and cool and there are changing stations for babies and kid sized potties for toddlers.

The Disneyland family center is near the end of Main St. by the corndog cart. The DCA family center is over by the bakery/tortilla factory.

The curtained off area won't be big enough for more than you and baby/toddler, though...

I found it nicer and easier to just nurse DS on Pirates of the Caribbean, LOL.

Hopefully someone has experience knowing if there is a space with an outlet in the baby center....it doesn't specifically say so. Best bet might be just heading back to the hotel for that.

Thanks for all the replies. Good to know they have a room for it.

I can bring the battery pack to pump that came with my pump

Thank you everybody

The BabyCenter at the end of Mainstree is wonderful! They have it set up completely for infants-toddlers. My DDs love the kinder toilets. The breastfeeding area is about 3 rocking chairs behind a curtain. Its a bit cramped but if you need privacy its nice.

They are supposed to have outlets for the pumps and if not then you could try the nurses stations which are next door. One baby center is on the path between Bugs land and the Wharf off to the left. No man's land.

Disneyland has one on the street where the photo shop and red corn dog cart is and it is way in the back also and out of the way.

Remember there are dudes on the camera watching the rides and see the groping teens and breastfeeding moms on rides.

I breastfed all over DLR, I just brought a nursing cover for about $30. It is great for nursing and sun cover for the baby. This is a link to the cover http://www.bebeaulait.com/ They sell them a ton of places, but be sure to get the one with the plastic peak-a-boo ring if the baby is young and doesn't latch easily.

As someone who has nursed two babies throughout DL - you have so many options. the ladies at Baby Care will become family to you, like they are to us.

Yes - they do have outlets for pumping. There are even two levels of privacy in the Disneyland one (which was original to the park from 1955) - the main breastfeeding area is walled off with rockers and there is a small room inside for extra privacy that is curtained off. There are about 5 rockers in this facility. The 2 Barbaras and Blanche are almost always here.

The DCA area has only 2 rockers, but lots of chairs in the main room. The rockers are curtained off and that facility has a full sized potty for parents (because it is newer and was designed for it). You will usually find Peggy and Angelus here. Linda and Michelle go between the two places.

You can also get additional needs inside - binkies, diapers, food, wipes, you name it. They are there from park opening to closing.

Of course my favorite places to nurse were the Animation Building in DCA, the Aladdin show, Pirates, Small World, any stage show, the Mark Twain Riverboat, and the Railroad. We had friends who had to stop at every opportunity and make a production out of feeding and it made us appreciate the fact that we could feed on the go and not be tied in one location. Some babies aren't that flexible, but ours were.:thumbsup2
