Yankee fans here, and we're planning our trip next week around the hopes of a date with the World Series! Games 1 & 2 will be (hopefully) spent @ ESPN...we started the season in Disney World to see our boys vs. the Braves in March, and we want to close it out there too!!

at the park against the lowly "Washington Senators" way
back in 1969!

Another life long Yankee fan here.
But DH is a Phillies fan. So if it's a Yankees-Phillies series, my house will be quite tense for a while. We may need to go for couples counseling, ha ha

Another Yankee fan here, I'd love to see them play the Dodgers in the WS (assuming they beat the Angels of course) but I'm not sure the Dodgers can beat the Phillies at this point.

Yankee fan here, lived most of life on LI, DSIL, and grandkids Soxs fans, nasty living up here , a few years back I went to supermarket and as I entered the store the HUGE front page of Boston papers said EVIL EMPIRE STRIKES AGAIN and I thought OMG there has been another terrorist attack(sometimes we don't have radio or TV on) and rushed over to read the story....well it was that the Yankees got Arod??????? I was totally surprised at the hatred, I didn't remember hating the Red Sox when I lived in NY, I remember really feeling sorry for them when they lost to the Mets in the 80's.

DH is from New Rochelle and has been a NYY for life (as proven by his tattoo). I just KNOW this is going to be our year again

Game is on as we speak/type. However I am NOT a Yankees fan. My boys both are and my 10 year old is glued to it watching. On Sat. night my husband fell asleep watching it..and of course IT SUCKED ME IN...and I stayed up until the bottom of the 12th and it didn't surprise me one bit the next morning when I found out the Yankees won. They ALWAYS COME BACK. Well except when the LOST TO BOSTON IN THE WORLD SERIES A FEW YEARS AGO......
I did get great pleasure the year Boston came from behind to win the World Series against the Yankees. My older son would have to go to bed because of it being a school night...and the Yankees would be winning and some how some way those few nights....Boston came back. I would wake my older son up and tell him Boston pulled it off. He would be sooooooooooooo mad.
That was the best series EVER.

You know I think you can be reported to Children's Protective Service for tormenting your son like this !!!! Yep, that series was a HEART BREAKER
