Are there benefits to DS hotels with no FP in play?

We're heading down in November for five nights. When we had originally planned the trip in 2020, we were staying at Hilton Buena Vista Palace mostly because of the FP benefit. But, without FP in play, I'm wondering if there's any reason to try to do a DS hotel, other than location. And, since we're not huge DS fans - I can't imagine us, especially for such a short stay, spending much time there (if any). Am I missing anything in my logic?

A big plus for Disney Springs hotels has always been their transportation system to the parks, and ability to use Disney transportation later in evening to return to Disney Springs area. If you were planning on driving to parks, no perk but if you will be dependent on shuttles, this is as far "non-Disney" as I would go.

Ah! That's exactly what I needed to know - we won't have a car.

Be aware that the Disney Springs hotel buses to the theme parks are apparently not running as often as in pre-Covid days. I don't have details, but you should look into it further if that's your reason for staying there.

The note at Disneyspringshotels.com says

"Shuttles to the Disney theme parks, water parks and Disney Springs have been temporarily suspended. Hotels that are offering park shuttles will be noted on their individual hotel page."
