Are there AP discounts and/or DC discounts for Christmas?

I know already if you book pre 12/20 you get value season rates for your whole stay even though you are there Christmas week? Can you do the same with AP discounted rates and/or DC discounted rates for pre 12/20 and save even more?

I believe AP discount rates are only available up to September right now. If you can get an AP rate for Christmas time when is the earliest you can do it based on past experience? Do you have to be pre 12/20 or will those discounted rates be honored after, too?

I think for DC discount rates you can do Christmastime already? Is that right?

Does anyone know which gives you a better rate? In the past I would of said AP discounted rates are better but I'm not sure anymore. Is it the same?

AP Holder discounts are still better than Disney Club discounts, but whether the AP Holder discounts will be offered in December this year is still a mystery. Last year was the first time in several years that Disney offered any discount other than Disney Club during the last three months of the year. If occupancy continues to pick up, I don't hold much hope for the same discounts this year. It's a matter of wait and see.

You may be interested to know that the Swan Dolphin give AP and DC rates over Christmas (which offer the same price incidentally). We are arriving Dec 26 for 6 nights and got half price rates for that time on the DC Entertainment Rate. The rates are available now, I booked 2 months ago.
