are there any tours for families

Wondering if anyone has experience with any "tours" at MK that could include children (ages 5 & 9)

I use the "unofficial guide to DisneyWorld for touring the various parks. In the back of the book is little maps--on what to see when to see- it even included the shows. Using that guide I seem to stay infront of the crowds and get to see everything there is. Its the best tour out there.

The Family Magic Tour. Our family did this and just loved it. We were Myself, DH, DS10, DD9, DS5 and my parents. It was a scavenger hunt type of a thing around MK with a guide. The story that we had involved Peter Pan and Wendy, both of which met us at the end of the tour and walked across the park hand in hand with my kids and took them on the Peter Pan ride and rode right along with them on it. It was awesome. We just loved the tour and my kids felt so special when someone tried to stop the characters for their autograph and they responded that they were with special guests and could not sign autographs at the moment. I would highly recommend it! Hope this helps.

Yep there certainly are!

There is the Family Magic Tour- (25 dollars per person)
2 hour tour offers guests an interactive adventure through the magic kingdom to solve a mystery. The tour is open to everyone and is offered at 10am reservations accepted but those w/o ressies may still find room by asking at city hall...

Then there is also the
Welcome to the magic kingdom tour- (20 dollars per person)
an introduction to mk in this 90 min walking tour tour leaves at 830 am thursdays kids under 10 are free

Our family did the Family Magic Tour on our last trip! It was a blast!!! A guide takes you on a scavenger hunt through the Magic Kingdom. I know scenarios change, but we were told that Peter Pan stole Captain Hook's best hook and we had to find it in 2 hours or he would let all the pirates from POTC out and kick all the good people out of the MK. We then had to follow clues to find it. We got to go on many attractions without waiting. At the end Peter Pan and Wendy joined us for photos and autographs. They then went into Mickey's Philharmagic with us. One of my son's (5) sat next to Peter and it made his whole trip!!!

I don't know if we will do it on our next trip, but we will definately do it again when my youngest is a little older (he is 2). It was a great time and worth every penny!!!
