These Are The Days - Keith Urban...reminds me to slow down and enjoy this time of my life. It was also the song that I played a lot last year around graduation, and it still makes me miss my friends from high school and all the memories I made there.
Amazing Grace - Charlotte Church...her voice is absolutely beautiful, and with this song, I just can't take it. This song always makes me cry because it was played at every funeral I've been too, but with Charlotte Church singing it, I bawl.
If Heaven - Andy Griggs and You'll Be There - George Strait...my grandfather was a pastor, and he always preached about never fearing death, but to accept it and embrace it. These two songs are basically everything I've learned from him, set to music.
Starting All Over Again - Israel Kamakawiwo'ole...this song has always spoken magnitudes to me, and it can always make me tear up.
If You're Reading This - Tim McGraw...after a soldier from my town died, I cannot listen to this song without sobbing.
And then the songs I just cannot stand:
95% of today's top 40 music.
And lately I just cannot stand to listen to the radio. Everywhere I go, I need to bring my ipod to listen to in the car, because I can't stand the music played on the radio. It's so overplayed. Even my local country station..it's depressing.
