Now stop laughing.....i know nothing in florida is ever small but does anybody know of or know where i can find any information on villas suitable for just two people? We are going nov for our third time, but already planning for 2004. thinking about a villa but obviously dont want a huge one just for two of us, also the cost factor. Any help or information gratefully received. thanks alison.:D

Hi Alison

We rented a small villa last year. I guess technically it's a condo. It had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room with dining area, kitchen and utility room.
There was a pool but it was shared with other units, rather than a private pool. I think this is quite common with smaller units.

there are a couple of condo places that are often in the disney brochures - try looking for somerset or laguna bay apartments.

We stay in a small condo as Bev described, 2 bed 2 bath and shared pool. Try Lindfields Villa and take the condos link. We have stayed in all of the properties at some time or another and are very satisfied customers.:p

Just a suggestion, but try thinking about it in terms of cost not square footage. We rented a 4 bedroom last year and originally it was for four adults and two children but my DM broke her hip and couldn't travel. We went as a familly of 4, me, DW, DD and DS and it was great. The fact that the villa was much bigger than we "needed" was a bonus (one bedroom dedicated to all the shopping. LOL).

I guess a hotel works out very reasonable for you as there are only two of you so maybe the price of a villa would be a lot more than you would pay for a hotel. However, keep a look out and try some of the sites that have been mentioned on here a number of times. The one I have used before is www.vrbo.com so have a look and see what a 3 bed would cost at the time you want to go.

Thank you for all your comments and links to sites, am off to have a look at them all and to get some idea of cost. thanks again. alison:)
