Are there any sit down restaurants that have steak AND burgers on the menu?

I have been going through the menu's this morning and haven't found anything that has the potential to please everyone at once. We have:

DS 18 - bugers, pizza kind of guy (nothing exotic)
DSgf 18 - burgers, pizza, chicken, steak (just nothing exotic)
DS 11 - burgers, pizza
DH - Steak, burgers (nothing exotic)
My mother - No steak, pork but will eat chicken and stuff like cold cuts
Myself - I'll eat anything
None of us are big Seafood eaters. (Was REALLY bummed not to see burgers on the Coral Reef menu)

We are doing all 4 parks. I think we can make Restaurantasarus work with the burgers for us and chicken nuggets for mom (are they littel nuggets or are they chicken strips? Its on the adult menu). If not, Flame Tree should work.

The other parks, Im at a loss on. Would love to do an ADR at a place with a nice steak, but Im not seeing stuff like baked chicken or turkey sandwiches (for mom) on the menu.

Any foodies out there that can help me out? Also, I know this is probably a strange question, but are there any all you can eat places that have burgers on the bar? My DS 18 can eat like a horse and put away 2 or 3 burgers easily. He is very much in shape, but just a big eater.

TIA!

same here we do not like seafood that much, we are steak eaters. we ate at coral reef last year and ordered the steak its was good but i don't rember seeing anything else on the menu beside seafood. this was during lunchtime.

At Le Cellier, you can get a steak and burger at lunchtime.

You have a pretty diverse group of eaters and it may be difficult to please everybody at a Table Service restaurant. You may have better luck at some of the resort restaurants.

I was going to suggest Le Cellier as well. If you want to have lunch there, make sure you make that one of your first ressies when you are able to do your ADRs...they fill up quickly!

I think Yak and Yeti has a burger. I know they have steak.

We don't do DDP and we always eat in the parks. We will be visiting MK during MNSSHP so there are limited options but I do think Peco's Bills will work one night and Cosmic Rays the other. For DHS I think we will do Sci Fi just because Ive always wanted to try it and they have steak/chicken so we can make that work.

Epcot is where Im having the most trouble. Im trying to make Coral Reef work lol. They have steak and chicken but what the heck is spaetzle?

Seared Chicken Breast - served over spaetzle finished with Applewood smoked bacon - chicken broth

The boys will have to make do with steak or pork tenderloin. Has anyone ever asked specifically for a burger at Coral Reef? I know they try to be accommodating, but I don't think asking for a burger falls under that category :rotfl:

Thanks for all your replies!

Spaetzle is kind of a noodle/dumpling. Usually about a half inch long. It is often made by pushing the noodle dough through the holes in a colander into a pot of boiling water to cook.

Le Cellier - lunch (EP)
Rainforest cafe (AK or DTD)
Plaza (MK)

From Epcot you could walk over to Swan and go to Il Mulino New York Trattoria. However, they do not participate in dining plan, so not an option if you are using dining plan.

I would say Le Cellier for the steak/burger combo, but don't be afraid to try a buffet, you can find something at the Crystal Palace to please anyone.

Liberty Tree Tavern in the MK probably wouldn't be a bad lunch choice for you either. No steak, but they have pot roast.

Also The Wave at the Contemporary is rumored to have a good steak, and I know they have burgers on their lunch menu. Its a really quick trip from the MK over there for lunch.

ETA: Look at Kona Cafe at the Poly too.

At Le Cellier, you can get a steak and burger at lunchtime.

The holy grail of restaurants for my group!! :worship: lol

We have never ate there and Ive read how hard it is to get a ressie but Im sure gonna try since they have both on the menu!

Thank you all again for your suggestions! There are just SO many menu's to go through, you have all been a great help! :)

There is a great feature on the DIS where you can search all menus for specific items. Here is the link :disrocks:

day you could try Grand Floridian Cafe for lunch dinner. The burger is a bit high end ad I don't know if they can offer it plain but it has steak and various sandwiched at lunch and steak, roasted chicken and pork chops at dinner.

Have you looked at the 50s Prime Time Cafe menu or Mama Melrose. The former has more home cooking type entrees. MM has steak, flatbreads/pizza and chicken pasta dishes.

Epcot can be tough. Have you looked at the Rose & Crown menu?.

You might try Liberty Tree Tavern at the MK for lunch. Or even for dinner.

Or try the Liberty Inn at Epcot. It's counter service, but has a good selection.

My sister's family is a lot like yours. They spent all their TS credits for BUFFETS!! Crystal Palace, Garden Grill, Chef Mickey's, etc. We ended up at Le Cellier and Ohana as well.

I could not get them to walk in Biergarten for anything!!

Otherwise, find a Golden Corral. There is one in Kissimmee and one in Lake Buena Vista.

It looks like your options increase a lot if you include resorts as well as in-park restaurants:

Parks - MK: Liberty Tree or Plaza (lunch), Studios: Sci-Fi?, AK: Rainforest Cafe, Epcot: Rose & Crown might work if there's something on the menu your mom likes, Chefs de France might work for lunch also. If those don't appeal to you and you look at counter service, I think your best bet for CS at Epcot would be Sunshine Seasons.

Resorts - Captain's Grill at YC, ESPN Club and Big River Grille at the Boardwalk, Grand Floridian Cafe, Turf Club at Sarasota Springs.
