When we visited Disney's California Adventure 2 years ago, I learned on laughingplace.com to line up in a certain place as soon as I got through the turnstiles in the morning to get tickets (Fast Passes) for the "Alladin" show.

Are there any shows at any of the parks for which you need to line up for tickets/Fast Passes 1st thing in the morning?

I might be mistaken but must shows run multiple times during the day. Festival of the Lion King is perhaps the only show I can think of that you might have to get in line for during the day, again I could be wrong. I do know at night Fantasmic! it is wise to get in line an hour or so before show time.

WDW doesn't have any "ticket" situations like the Aladdin show at DCA. You won't need tickets like that for anything in the parks.
