Has anyone stayed here yet? Is it relatively new? I am looking for reviews.

Thank you:D

There are several reviews on this resort. I did a search on this website awhile back ago and found some great reviews. That helped me to decide on making a reservation there.

It's a new place and looks gorgeous.

Happy Trails!

We stayed at the Wyndham Palms Resort and Country Club in July. We had a two bedroom, two bath condo which we booked through hotelkingdom.com at $89 per night. The condo was only two months old so everything was brand new. The condo is 1,500 square feet with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, sofa bed, 52 inch tv, king sized bed in master with jacuzzi tub and separate shower (very nice bath). The second bedroom has two double beds and a bath. We also had a screened-in balcony. This place is very, very nice, especially for that kind of money. We did not have to attend a time share presentation. We were about a five minute drive from WDW. The complex had a golf course, mini golf, pools, etc. I am a Wyndham By Request member and there was a nice bottle of white wine waiting for me in the fridge and chocolate chip cookies. There was a nice note from the Wyndham by Request Manager welcoming us to the resort. We were only there two nights (my relatives stayed five nights and also enjoyed it very much) so we didn't use the pools.

Let me know if you have any questions.

wdisneelvr - thank you, it's good to hear they were good..though the search function is disabled here :(

antmaril - I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your stay there. This is exactly what I'm looking for. Thank you for the info. The only ? I have is about things to do with the kids. Any fun things like bike rentals, activities, fishing, etc???

My email notification is not working - I had to check the thread to see any replies :(

Thanks :D

Lorix2: Since we were only there two nights, I'm not really sure about activities for the children. My son is 16, so I didn't really look into it. I believe they did have some planned activities going on during the day for the kids. I believe there was a schedule of events published for the week.

Also, I forgot to mention they offered a continental breakfast Monday thru Thursday. We checked in on a Friday, so it wasn't offered to us.

It was a very nice place to stay. If you can get that $89 rate at hotelkingdom.com, I don't think you will be sorry.
