Are there any MUST EAT places that "Universal Regulars" have to hit each trip??

For me it's nothing like Disney for must haves. I agree with Mythos but don't go every trip. I usually get gift cards for Hard Rock and Bubba Gump's so I'll go to those also. You can walk into the Harry Potter restaurants and look around without buying anything or just getting a drink or dessert. Cowfish is good but we have one in Charlotte so I don't usually go at Universal. Both of Emeril's restaurant are excellent but pricey.

I have to say, we hated the Simpsons area food court. The food was not that good and it was a confusing mess.

We had a similar experience. It was CROWDED, the food was the worst we had eaten all week, and almost twice as expensive as Three Broomsticks. ($10 for chicken fingers, curly fries, and a coke refill...Three Broomsticks was $11 for 2 orders of chicken fingers, 2 orders of potato wedges)

I like these type of polls as there are no one answer but opinions of what kind of places we enjoyed for food

And I appreciate no one says I am stupid like Homer as I like the food court offerings in Springfield
Lol

We loved the Krusty Burger and Chicken and Waffle sandwich. It was slow season but I can see where some might be confused if it was crowded.

Those two sandwiches and tater tots are my favorites

Taco truck is high priced for my liking, but do get the steak/asada tacos there on occasion

Agree with you on those crowds
Did it once at noon now I hit that food court at off times

We tried the Taco Truck based on Unofficial Guide reviews. It was not good at all. Asada was too salty and portions were too small. While we were eating a family sat down next to us with Krusty Burgers. We literally threw our Taco Truck food away and got Krusty Burgers!

many peeps say the taco truck is not up to par.
you are correct on that !

i do like the occasional asada taco but only if it is for a snack.
they are way small.

first time i got the asada, i ended up getting food inside the simpsons food court.
three bites and that was it.
small tacos, big price.

Lol.......yeah we liked the meat and cheese pizza and the turkey wrap........they were really nice.......the wrap was so fresh and tasty!

The burger I thought was the worst I had ever seen.......we took it back up and got something else. It looked like an old piece of leather........

DS did think the chicken was lovely. Didn't find it expensive though.

Wow! How did you get the discount at Three Broomsticks? A quick check of the menu posted on the Disboard shows one order of chicken fingers and potato wedges sell for $8. You managed to get two orders for $11. please share.

Our must do's are:

-Big Pink Donut from Lard Lad
-All four kinds of Butterbeer
-Mel's Drive In for lunch or dinner

Red Oven Pizza at City Walk is also a go to for us if we want something quick on the way out.

Sorry, I should have explained, those were kids meals at Three Broomsticks (4.99 each before tax) but the food in one kids meal at Three Broomsticks was roughly the same size as the order at Simpsons.

Like Schumi said, and I should have explained better there too, I wouldn't call Simpsons expensive, just overpriced compared to other places, to me; especially since what we ordered was rather gross, IMO.

Out only must-dos are the Three Broomsticks and Leaky Cauldron. We're huge Harry Potter fans, and the restaurants make you feel like you are in the movies. We also have to get Earl Grey and Lavender ice cream from Florean Fortescue's....I'm not saying that you should consider it for breakfast, but we did.
