Are there any menu items excluded from the Dining Plan?

We've never used the dining plan, though are considering doing the Delux Dining Plan on our next trip. Could anyone tell me if there are any limitations with the plan, such as items on the menu that are excluded from the plan? Thanks in advance.

If there are any items that are "for 2", then those would be excluded unless 2 of you on the plan shared it. Those tend to be the bigger dessert samplers generally.

What Disney DOES do is remove certain items from the menu during the free dining period. Typically that will be filet mignon that will disappear, but it'll return once the free dining ends.

has a list of observed exclusions and surcharges. There are very few that have been noted by DIS readers. Any of these could be subject to change at any time. It's noted that a few of them changed between 2007 and 2008.
