I am from Queens and I am getting married at the Wedding Pavillion March 10 2007, with a reception at the Asbury Room of the Yacht Club. In about 2 months we will finally reach our 8 month window and the real detail decisions will be made. I cannot wait.

Hi there! I grew up in the city and I currently live in Nassau county on the Island only 25 min or so from Manhattan. I am getting married in June 2007 at wdw.

where are you going to get married at disney? i'm getting married at epcot in japan. maybe. if i can afford it!!!

Japan terrace? that would be really nice and unique! Are you thinking intimate or custom?

We are doing the wedding pavillion followed by a reception at the Boardwalk. Our families are pretty traditonal (DF's is on the conservative side) lol and our families were fine with Disney but wanted us to do some thing more like a chapel so this satisfies everyone involved....we get Disney they get the traditional chapel wedding and ballroom reception!

Reception @ the whitehall patio & St. Augustine ballroom....

I figure it's just as expensive to have a wedding in NYC as it is Disney right?

At first i was kind of sad about not doing a church wedding. But I got over it! What higher cathedral is there than the bright blue sky? And sunlight is just as beautiful blazing (hopefully!) as it is filtered through stained glass windows. I'm sure God will be at my wedding
